Creating records in two models in a RESTful way.
Hey everyone,
I have a philosophical question here. Say I have a website that uses two
models for accounts: Person and Company. Normally I would just have
/accounts/new for user signup.
However, the RESTful way to do it is to have /people and /companies.
Unfortunately, this doesn''t account for a situation where you''d have a
one-page signup form. I wouldn''t want

checklistbox
Salut Alex.

Samba and CUPS accouting with HP 1320
Hi,
I've problems to get accounting information for print jobs. I'm using
samba and CUPs on debian etch. For the HP 1320 printer I use this PPD:
http://openprinting.org/foomatic-db/db/source/PPD/HP/HP_LaserJet_1320_Series.ppd
Which PS print driver do I have to use at windows client side?
Thanks,

ext4 in 5.3
Hi guys - I'm really looking forward to 5.3 for the potential of ext4.
I am moving/copying image files lately 8G file and it is slow. I am
hoping that ext4 really speeds that up.
My question is: will we be able to boot ext4 file systems?
Will the boot partition still be ext3 and then have to mount the ext4
filesystem?
I did not see mention of it in the release notes.
Thanks,
Jerry

is.na(v)<-b (was: Re: Beginner's query - segmentation fault)
I think the thread ended up with several people (not only me)
feeling certain they didn't like `is.na<-` but with the
developers defending it and me not really understanding
why.
Uwe Ligges was going to come up with an example of
`<- NA` going wrong (sorry Brian R, I mean behaving
unexpectedly), but never did, and I think the problem
has been fixed. It was apparently a problem with

The graphical screen was just blank. darkplaces emits some log messages as usual. But step by step...

No, it's not that.
# rpm -q libshout
libshout-2.0-1.dag
# rpm -q libshout-devel
libshout-devel-2.0-1.dag
It's the half-hard-coded shout/shout.h path in the source. Since
libshout is installed by rpm in /usr/include, the path will never
match. Even if

Updated version of patch
Attached is a patch against shout-python-0.2 which does two trivial but
very useful things
(1) The function "get_connected" is exported so that shout-python
becomes usable
in nonblocking mode. In the current version of shout-python "open"
raises an exception in nonblocking mode.
(2) The global interpreter lock is released in the potentially blocking
functions

python-shout 0.2.1 with icecast 2.4.0 segfaults
Hi there,
I am trying to use python-shout 0.2.1 to broadcast to a icecast 2.4.0
server, which result in a segmentation fault and I can't understand why. Is
anyone else experiencing this problem?
Here is the config that I use with icecast 2.4.0.
