dovecot-auth: Too many open files
All, [version: dovecot-0.99.11-4.EL4.src.rpm] We recently experienced an issue that prevented all new IMAP logins from occurring. Although it appears that it was due to running out of available system file descriptors, I'm still not sure what the true root cause was as I can't replicate the same error in our test environment. The system file descriptor max was set at (per `cat

PIX!!!!!
Can anyone point me in a good direction for configuring SIP through a PIX using 1:1 NAT. I have read anything I could get my hands on and tried them all with very little success. I can get it to work through the cheap little cable modem routers, but not this PIX. I -can- make a direct SIP call using the IP address of the * server (ie.exten@ipaddr), but when I do that * still doesn't

Careful. You need to scrub more than just the IP address for a clone and it's parent to safely run at the same time. For example, if you don't scrub the

I have no idea if it's possible to "disable" the NIC on the VM definition but you could boot into runlevel 1 (where there is no network) and perform the changes there. You may do this by passing a

[LLVMdev] Bringing in the Nios2 code generator
Hi, I have completed enough of the Nios2 code generator that I think it is appropriate to bring it into the source tree. What is the best approach to take? It all sits in one directory, of course: lib/Targets/Nios2. Besides that directory, the only other change I've made is to configure. The code generator is complete, but requires more testing. How should I proceed? Should I commit

[LLVMdev] Bringing back Andersen-like alias analysis
Hello, I am researching a more efficient approach to subset-based alias analysis in the style of Andersen's algorithm, and I noticed that there used to be an implementation of that for LLVM back in 2.6 (-anders-aa) which was removed because it was "not being actively maintained and had substantial problems". I'd be interested in knowing what was wrong with it (other than

Does anybody know what would be causing the errors below? I get these errors continuously until asterisk finally quits. How about bringing some organization to the forums?
Just was wondering why this is all just one big thread? Why isn't this forum broken down into categories such as that on the AppDB? Applications Educational Games Multimedia Networking & Communication Programming Utilities Seems like it would look a little more orderly and easier to sort peoples questions and expertise. Just a thought to the moderators[/list]

CTDB daemon crashed on bringing down one node in the cluster
All, I have a 3 node CTDB cluster which serves 4 'public addresses'. /etc/ctdb/public_addresses file is node specific and present in the above path in participating nodes. All the nodes run RHEL 6.2. Other ctdb config files such as "nodes" and "public_addresses" are placed on a shared filesystem mounted on a known location (say, /gluster/lock) On starting CTDB

Bringing dbf Data With SQL
I have a heavy DATA saved in dbf format. What I want is to bring that data to R with SQL statements. Like: I want columns 1, 4, 5 and only when column 4 > 30. Sorry asking it here instead of keep searching in manuals, but it seems that there are too many ways of doing it. So what's the appropriate package that I need to work it, considering also that im dealing with lots of gigas so the

Massive number of processes bringing system to a halt.
Dear All, I'm running SAMBA 2.0.5a on a Sun 450 running Solaris 7. In the past I've had an occasional problem with processes running amok and causing the server to grind to a halt, which I've put down to network glitches as they seemed to coincide with problems on the network. But today I've had 3 instances where the number of smbd processes has just steadily increased until

Win2k bringing down SMB
We have a small LAN here with NT4/98 clients. I reformated an NT machine and poped win2k on it, but as soon as I try to access the network, it takes over. It can access the samba server fine, but none of the 98/NT machines can see anything. Tried originally with 2.0.7-pre4, then i installed 2.0.7 final and experianced the same problem. Problems bringing up ZAP trunks via PRI
Hello, I'm fairly new to asterisk and Trixbox, I'm setting up a Trixbox based email to fax gateway. At this time, I have a ZAP PRI link between the eFax server and my VoIPSwitch. The ZAP channels are configured, the B and D channels are up, and I have green link lights on either end of my cabling, but when I dial the number I have assigned to my eFax server, the call never seems to route

Run commands automatically when bringing up/down network interfaces?
I'm looking for a capability similar to Debian/Ubuntu's pre/post up/down network commands capability. The problem: we've got a colo in which hosts talk directly to the hosting provider's router (through a bridging firewall) and hence our hosts MAC addresses are cached by the router. We should be able to solve this by pinging the router directly when bringing up the interface,
