About two IFs with the same IP and the multipath
Hi there, I''m trying to achieve the classic load balancing using the multipath. The gateways are: A (tunl0) and B (tunl1) This is the classical situation covered by the HOWTO: one computer with two Internet connections. The problems come when I try to use the same IPs for both A and B. So A is 10.229.25.8 and B 10.229.25.8. I cannot do otherwise, I''m forced to use the

Zero listeners on icecast stats
I must try that. Will let you know asap! btw I'm not "trying to stick with the one that has the most universal "default browser support" but instead trying to avoid a LOT of listeners writing me "my player/browser/whatever doesn't connect, it doesn't understand ogg / opus / xspf " etc. etc. - so mp3 it is. It's simple surviving :) On 3/18/20, Jeroen van

The best of luck in getting current clients working properly with Ogg/Opus. Many clients are buggy in that regard, including such things as closing the stream on metadata change. Many clients even

Zero listeners on icecast stats
Have you considered round robin DNS.. essentially you assign the same A record to two IPs. I do this and it distributes listeners for me without Icecast. Zero listeners on icecast stats
Hi there, I just set up a system of fallback streams for our free radio station here but I have this weird problem: it always show zero listeners. Our setup is this: We have a listening mount point for people - that fall back to a live streaming from a cellular phone - that fall back to a live streaming from a base station (a pc), that fall back to a 24/7 archive streaming. No matter what the

Kernel 2.6.11
I just installed 2.6.11 and I have found a couple of things: a) As I mentioned yesterday, there are Netfilter-ipsec patches available in the contrib/IPSEC/2.6.11 directory (they were created against rc4 and they thus apply with offsets to 2.6.11 final). There are now 5 patches -- the 5th is mine and is necessary to allow iptables to compile against the patched kernel source tree. I''m

[Bridge] 2.6.11/10 (and probably others), usbnet + bridge => massive memory corruption
Hi all, Well, I've been trying to set up Debian on an OpenZaurus bootstrap.. well, there were some complications after I enabled bridging between usbnet and via_rhine ethernet, My set up includes, 1. Network interface setup using usbnet 2. Bridge eth0+usb0=>main (bridge name) 3. bootstrap Debian on an NFS volume. There are no lost pockets or any type of kernel oops. I can produce a

Kernel 2.6.11
Has anyone tried compiling the zaptel stuff under the 2.6.11 kernel? I get all kinds of errors when doing that. On the 2.6.10 it works fine. This is using cvs. Also, any news on when a 1.2 will be released? Or even available for download? :) -- respectfully, Joseph =============== ---------------------= ********** =
