smb_panic with 4.0.0rc2 on Debian Squeeze
Hi,
I have successfully compiled and installed Samba 4.0.0rc2 on Debian
Squeeze as described in the Wiki. In order to support Win XP and Win 7
clients, I have created GPOs for folders redirection. The problem I am
facing is with random PANIC messages in the logs and logon/logoff/file
access process gets hung on the client.
Here are the logs:

The big problem here, in my opinion, is that it is generally accepted

FW: Missing 'glusterfs.so' in Ubuntu
I've forwarded this one because it was meant for the list.
I notices a reply of Andreas Hasenack
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1807177/comments/4
So lets hope ubuntu gets the glusterfs in main.

samba 4.13.17 ubuntu 20.04
Hi,
today we've installed latest samba update on ubuntu 20.04:
2:4.13.17~dfsg-0ubuntu1.20.04.5
Now the login issue is solved.
We've rolled back the windows settings for local security for Kerberos encryption.
Many thanks to the developers and support
Best regards
Frank

Choosing a backend idamp and example scenarios for each one
Thank you all!!!! Great content!!!
Speaking of scenarios... What would be the best backend for?
Scenario 1:
3 DCs and 1 fileserver
2800 users
Scenario 2:
4 DCs and 2 fileserver
2800+ users
