.NET 2.0 fails compiling assemblies on OSX
I'm running 1.1.1 on Mac OS X 10.5.4.
I have searched about this issue and found nothing and people are running .net apps fine so I think this is a particular problem with Darwine (osx build)
.NET installs fine via winetricks and then I can run simple .net apps like QuickGUIDGen, but having a look to the NGen log I noticed there were no assemblies installed (It's supposed to install

Samba4: no --use-ntvfs option on samba-tool ntacl sysvolcheck
In samba-tool, sysvolreset has options for either --use-ntvfs or
--use-s3fs to set the permissions appropriately
However, sysvolcheck does not have the same capability, and always
attempts to verify in s3 vfs.
Is this a known limitation in Samba 4.0.0 ?

security.NTACL Not Being Set Using LXC Containers
Hi,
My Samba 3.6.6 file server isn't setting the security.NTACL extended
attribute. It can set the user.DOSATTRIB without any issue. This appears
to be an LXC container issue, as outside the container I can set this
using the setfattr command without issue, whereas I can't do this
inside.
Despite this not being a Samba issue, I was wondering whether anybody
has any encountered

You only require them if you are having major problems.

Thank you for your answer.
I ran sysvolcheck because I noticed some "odd" behavior of Group Policies. I can't still put my finger

samba-tool ntacl sysvol check errors (samba 4.7.4 AD DC)
To answer my own question:
I solved it (I think).
There were 2 causes basically:
1) I had messed up idmap.ldb on DC's (one with PDC FSMO was fine, the
other two had more-or-less wrong mappings). I simply:
created hot backup of idmap.ldb on DC1, stopped samba on other dc's, and
overwritten idmap.ldb there.
the above solved issue of GPO not being accessed
2) sysvolcheck was a bit

Problems with samba-tool ntacl sysvol reset
Good moring,
i investigated last night in this issue and was able to solve it.
Short: Reason was a missing GPO file
======================
Long Version (how i think the failure occours)
I have 3 samba ad services (all raspberry pi's)
Because one pi crashed months ago (unreadable sd card) i move all roles from samba01 to samba02, demoted samba02 as bad dc and rejoined it as fresh install.

samba-tool ntacl sysvolreset questions
Hi,
In reading this list I see a lot of talk about samba-tool ntacl sysvolreset
actually breaking things. Given the above How do I properly configure
a 2nd AD DC or setup sysvol replication?
For instance If I were to follow https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Joining_a_Samba_DC_to_an_Existing_Active_Directory
In the Built-in Groups GID Mappings section the last thing it says to do is
run samba-tool
