Plastic Water Bottles
The plastics industry says polycarbonate bottles are safe.

I'm sure Maggie and here friends would say ALL plastic bottles are
very dangerous.
This lady seems to be at a reasonable middle ground.

baseline hazard function
Dear colleagues, I have the following dataset. It is modelled on the data included in Box-Seteffenheiser and Jones "Event History Modelling"
Using the following code, I try to find the baseline hazard function
haz_1<-muhaz(bpa$time, bpa$censored, subset=(bpa$year=="2010" | bpa$ban=="1"), min.time=1, max.time=3)
I think I'm doing everything right, but what I

subsetting based on joint values of critera
Dear colleagues, I have a dataset that looks as below.
I would like to make a new dataset that excludes the cases which are joint conjunctions of particular state names and years, so Connecticut and 2010, Maryland and 2010 and Vermont and 2010.
I'm trying the following subset code:
newdata<- subset(bpa, (!State=="Connecticut" & year<"2010"))
It appears that

how a latent state matrix is updated using package R2WinBUGS
I'm trying to understand how a latent state matrix is updated by the MCMC
iterations in a WinBUGS model, using the package R2WinBUGS and an example
from Kery and Schaub's (2012) book, "Bayesian Population Analysis Using
WinBUGS". The example I'm using is 7.3.1. from a chapter on the
Cormack-Jolly-Seber model. Some excerpted code is included at the end of

Exporting symnum() result from cor()
Hello,
I am trying to export the results from symnum() while maintain their

Increasing log levels in sshd via sshd_config(5)
Perhaps I have set something incorrectly as I seem to be unable to
increase the log level for sshd(8) by setting it in sshd_config(5)

LogLevel INFO shows few details for Certificate invalid: not yet valid / expired
I notice that when using log level INFO it seems sshd(8) provides very
little information about failed SSH certificate log in attempts:

not yet valid
Apr 5 14:45:31 server sshd-session[88953]: error: Certificate invalid:

Multistate occupancy models using Jags
Hi everyone,
I am trying to run the example of multistate occupancy model from the book
Bayesian Population Analysis using WinBUGS (Marc Kéry and Michael Schaub):
This example is available on
http://www.vogelwarte.ch/code-for-running-bpa-using-jags.html
When I try to run the first line of this section of the model :

I believe Metze's patches require OpenSSL, but he needs to comment on

Samba on AIX - Active directory
On the IBM web site they have version 4.3.8.
I have not tested this IBM package as yet.
Another site that has compiled versions of samba is
http://www.bullfreeware.com/
I do not know if the packages on this site have been compiled with AD support or as AD-DC's.
You can use smbd -b to find out what configure options samba was built with.
I used to do my own compilation/builds of samba but I

random wrong login shell in domain member
Hello Adam,
Have the same issue on CentOS 7.4. Ended up hardcording in smb.conf:
template shell = /bin/bash
template homedir = /home/%U
Never had such issues on Fedora. Please let me know if you'll find a real
fix.
Thank you,
Matt

random wrong login shell in domain member
Hello, everybody. I have encountered some strange situations that are driving me crazy. I have 2 DCs which using sernet samba, version 4.7.6. and I use a samba version 4.6.2 as a domain member for file sharing in CentOS7.4. The domain member works well as a file server, but When I login to that domain member using AD authtication. Sometimes, It works OK too, but sometime , I can't login that

Asterisk 14.2.1 PJSIP - is it possible to retrieve a PJSIP header To field for the SIP OK response to Trying?
I place a call into Asterisk (from SIP phone) and the To header does not have a tag. Asterisk then sends it's Trying response, still no tag in the To header. The phone then replies with OK, this time the To header includes a tag.
Is there any way to retrieve this response To header (including the tag field) from the dial plan?
I have tried the PJSIP-HEADER read of the To header, but it
