[Bridge] new gretap, bridging and mtu
Greetings all, I've setup a new gretap device as per Herbert Xu's new patches and it works as expected for smaller MTU. I'm wondering if gretap tunnels handle fragmentation at all or if this might be a bridge related issue. The same setup works quite well if I use vtun with a tap device however, so while this isn't entirely bridge-related, Maybe someone here might have

"scripts are not supported on interfaces of type vhostuser" error
Hi, I'm having trouble starting a VM with vhostuser interfaces. I have a simple configuration where a VM running Debian has 1 vhostuser interface plugged into an OVS switch where a DPDK interface is already plugged in. $ ovs-vsctl show: Bridge "switch1" Port "switch1" Interface "switch1" type: internal Port "1.switch1"

Re: "scripts are not supported on interfaces of type vhostuser" error
Spot on! The script qemu-ifup was indeed the cause of the problem. It's a dummy script that only does "exit 0" and it was apparently needed in the past with old versions of libvirt. I see examples on the net where it is used to configure interfaces with shell commands. I don't need it. I see that everything works fine without the <script

[RFC] Enhance Partial Inliner by using a general outlining scheme for cold blocks
Hi Jessica, Thanks for the feedback. I believe the existing partial inliner pass does use some common utilities like the code extractor to do outlining. Is that what you're referring to? I don't recall seeing any other passes that has outlining other than the machine outliner, but I may have missed something. I briefly looked at River's RFC and it seems he's mainly utilizing

FXO Hangs up automatically
Hi, I'm having problems using a TDM400P Card. I put my SIM card in a Nokia Premicell and connected it to a TDM400P card but when I make calls to the number, it hangs up automatically. The card also can't call out. Any ideas? I've searched the archives without much success. I appreciate all your help. Details: I'm using Asterisk 1.2.17 on Fedora Core release 5 (Bordeaux). On an

We have a samba server behind a firewall with the IP address 192.168.200.2 and a Windows 2000 Domain controller with the IP address 192.168.255.1 . When we put the samba in the same subnet then it woks fine. Possible bug in SAMBA connection close?
Hey all, I've been fighting a samba share/unmount problem for several days now and may have found a bug in the connect/disconnect code. Basically, it seems that while everything claims to free the connection to the share, it doesn't actually happen. This is me closing ALL windows to the server: log.smbd: jon1 (192.168.200.2) connect to service disc1_pc_test as user breakit (uid=501
