[PATCH/Gallium] nv50_clear again (might work better)
I've been looking at REnouveau dumps to check how the blob does the clear buffers
thing and they seem to do it a bit differently than what you committed, so I tried
a new version of the clear functions (see how I changed it below) with a little test:
Setup 2 texture render targets (and a depth target) and glClear them to a color
changing with time, then render a triangle textured with the

[PATCH] Fix surface_fill alpha
Currently surface_fill sets alpha incorrectly to 1.0 when drawing to
A8R8G8B8 instead of the correct value.
xf86-video-nouveau has the following comment confirming the issue:
/* When SURFACE_FORMAT_A8R8G8B8 is used with GDI_RECTANGLE_TEXT, the
* alpha channel gets forced to 0xFF for some reason. We're using
* SURFACE_FORMAT_Y32 as a workaround

[PATCH] nv50: make sure to clear _all_ layers of all attachments
Unfortunately there's only one RT_ARRAY_MODE setting for all
attachments, so clears were previously truncated to the minimum number
of layers any attachment had. Instead set the RT_ARRAY_MODE to 512 (the
max number of layers) before doing the clear. This fixes
gl-3.2-layered-rendering-clear-color-mismatched-layer-count.

[PATCH] nv10/exa: Spring-cleaning
* Kill the A8+A8 hack. Recent enough X servers (>=1.7) fall back to
ARGB glyphs for drivers not supporting A8 render targets.
* Kill all the global state. It doesn't matter a lot yet but it might
if we get multicard working at some point.
* Other random clean-ups with no functional changes.

supported by the render engines.

In a perfect world I'd have separate callbacks for depth and color, but given
the list of supported values, I don't think this matters. Also I used

ARB_depth_texture regression on nouveau since 9.1
Hello,
I've been tracking down a regression in fbo-generatemipmap-formats
with ARB_depth_texture on nouveau (nv50 and nvc0 are affected) since
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/commit/?id=0a1479c829ed34a65e60c6619a8164e1b079aaee
FTR, the test I'm running is:
bin/fbo-generatemipmap-formats GL_ARB_depth_texture -fbo -auto
Looking at the displayed output (without -fbo -auto), it looks

Not sure whether something needs to be done to clear out the old RT_* settings
for that index buffer, or if things are cleared out implicitly. Perhaps
instead of skipping indices, RT_CONTROL needs to be adjusted with the

some associated corruption as well.

Thanks, Marek. Could someone with commit access pick this up? Let me
know if you'd like me to reformat/resend/create a git tree/whatever.

Some cosmetic NV10TCL method changes.
The attached patch does the cosmetic renouveau.xml changes I
proposed. I'm about to reply myself with some other patches to update
libdrm and then fix the API break up.

[PATCH 0/4] nvfx: rework render temps code and fixes
This patch series silences some unknown cap warnings and fixes up
coding style (patch 1+4).
The most important part of this series are the two patches in the
middle. They rework the state_fb code, so that we are able to
render to not 64 byte aligned targets, as this is the only real
use-case for render temporaries this allows us to drop temp code
completely and simplifies a lot
