Handling of irregular time series in lineChart
Hi, I realized that when I have irregular series to feed into lineChart, the interval of each point in the chart does not seem to take care of irregular time interval I specified in my input xts time series. But rather, lineChart seems to take each point as equal spaced time series. For example, I have the following code: library(quantmod) options(digits.sec=3) t0 <-

Having trouble using data returned by Ajax.request
Hello everyone, I''m new here. I''ve been working with prototype and plotr for about a month now, off and on, and I have pretty much hit the wall on using the data returned by Ajax.Request. I''m using some php code to return a string: {''foo'': [[0,0.0865334429075127], [1,0.0828179861705063], [2,0.0828173042602942], [3,0.0841707718624196]]} But I keep

Gnash 0.8.2 rpm for CentOS 4?
Does anyone know if there is a Gnash rpm available for CentOS 4? I have tried compiling it myself but run into dependency problems. I looked here http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/gnash/ but there is only 0.8.2 for el5 not el4. -- Robert Arkiletian Eric Hamber Secondary, Vancouver, Canada Fl_TeacherTool http://www3.telus.net/public/robark/Fl_TeacherTool/ C++ GUI tutorial

mozilla-plugin: getting the url of the current web page
Hi, is there a way to get the current page url from the mozilla plugin? I've tried to port the gnash implementation (plugin.cpp nsPluginInstance::getCurrentPageURL()) but firefox dies because of missing symbols (NPN_GetValue), I see there's some tricks on reimplementig the npapi but can't understand it. Any hint? thanks, riccardo

Copy data from XP to same app under Wine??
With snarls and curses and gnashing of teeth, I still keep one laptop and one dual-bootable PC hard drive with XPProSP2 installed. (Everything else is Fedora 10.) I do so purely for one class of apps, proprietary map software. Wine can now install and run at least one, and the most important, of the four suites of such apps that I have. (That one is Garmin MapSource, including Topo US

Fwd: Re: [Olpc-open] XO review & Theora
As far as video playback is concerned, it seems to mostly come down to how the video is compressed - although Gnash (the open flash player) still has a ways to go to play flash media as well as the closed source flash players. For the Colingo activity and library, we've found it very difficult to find optimum settings for flash and instead have decided to go with Theora. We've managed to

gnash plug-in for firefox on CentOS 6
How, if at all, should I replace the flash plug-in for firefox running on CentOS 6? I've read that gnash is a prospect, but it seems to not be in any of my repositories. -- Michael hennebry at web.cs.ndsu.NoDak.edu "Sorry but your password must contain an uppercase letter, a number, a haiku, a gang sign, a heiroglyph, and the blood of a virgin."

Some updates
Hey everybody, I've been doing some thinking about the upcoming release while enjoying my holidays and playing with ABC support. The ABC support will require significant changes to the core that will likely result in some instabilities for a while in the core. Seeing that both bug reports and commits on master currently are low in volume, I'd vote for fixing the few rather annoying bugs

Mappery breakthrough : Garmin topo, vista, rino, under linux & CXO
As most of you know, I've been trying to make GPSs and topo maps usable under Fedora Core 4 linux, using CrossoverOfficePro (CXO) 5.0.1. I've belabored nine or ten specialized lists for six or eight weeks, parcelling out pieces of the problem wherever I hoped they might arouse interest and knowledge. I've gotten invaluable help and encouragement from all of them, on the lists

Can wine be used to view a webpage online?
I am curious. There are online game sites tailored to work well with windows which do not work well with Linux. For example: http://www.pogo.com Some of the games work, but others crash such as say "word whomp." This happened to me in Fedora 10 and Ubuntu 10.10. Is there a way to open a website using java pop-ups like 'word whomp' in wine with Linux? I apologize for my
