Call for testing: OpenSSH 10.0
I tested building the openSUSE Tumbleweed package locally with the 20250403 snapshot and doing a live test and it works fine. I then also did try "make tests" on the vanilla snapshot sources and at first they failed to even build but after a quick fix that I've submitted at https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3806 the tests run fine too. Thanks! El mi?, 2 abr 2025 a las

FYI: fix for big-endian systems pushed to V_9_9 branch
Hi, This is mostly a note for downstream distributors of OpenSSH. I've just pushed fixes to the V_9_9 stable branch for a bug in the mlkem768x25519-sha256 key exchange algorithm that was added in this release that causes connection failures when connecting between big-endian and little-endian hosts. The problem is on the big-endian side. No change is required for the more common

openssh-9.9p1 problem with faillock pam module
Dear developers, Our server implements two SSH services on ports 22 & 8022, with different PAM settings. The daemon is built from source of OpenSSH portable releases. Following the instructions in the INSTALL file, we made a copy of "<prefix>/sbin/sshd" (for port 22) as "<prefix>/sbin/sshd2" (for port 8022), created a separate "sshd2_config" file,

An Analysis of the DHEat DoS Against SSH in Cloud Environments
I'd like to withdraw the last set of metrics I reported. I couldn't reproduce some of them, and I suspect I made a mistake during testing. Being more careful this time, I set up another fully updated Ubuntu 24.04 VM with 4 vCPUs running openssh-SNAP-20240628.tar.gz with all defaults unchanged. When running using "ssh-audit.py --conn-rate-test=16 target_host", the system idle
