What is the best procedure for doing this on a minimal install of CentOS without a gui? Can I install all the dependencies through yum that a `#yum install xen kernel-xen xen-libs` would bring in, then simply install the xen-3.2.0-0xs.centos5.i386.rpm and xen-libs-3.2.0-0xs.centos5.i386.rpm? Hi all, A friend of mine gives me a copy of Centos5 DVD. I then make an iso of it using dd if=/dev/cdrom of=centos5.iso command. I then check it using sha1sum. But the result is different than of listed in Centos website. Should it the same? Or we simply cannot compare sha1sum from burned DVD to that of 'unburned' iso file? The fastest speed I measured in domU was about 800/600 receive/transmit Mbps, dom0 being a bit slower.
