[PATCH 00/50] ia64/xen take 3: ia64/xen domU paravirtualization
Hi. This patchset implements xen/ia64 domU support.
Qing He and Eddie Dong also has been woring on pv_ops so that
I want to discuss before going further and avoid duplicated work.
I suppose that Eddie will also post his own patch. So reviewing both
patches, we can reach to better pv_ops interface.
- I didn't changed the ia64 intrinsic paravirtulization abi from

[PATCH 0/5] ia64/pv_ops, xen: binary patch optimization
This patch set is for binary patch optimization for paravirt_ops.
The binary patch optimization is important on native case because
the paravirt_ops overhead can be reduced by converting indirect
call into in-place execution or direct call.
The first patch imports helper functions which themselves doesn't interesting
things.
The second patch replaces the indirect function calls with a

[PATCH 00/15] RFC: ia64/pv_ops take 4
Hi. This patchset implements ia64/pv_ops support which is the
framework for virtualization support.
Please review and comments.
On x86 various ways to support virtualization were proposed, and
eventually pv_ops won. So on ia64 the pv_ops strategy is appropriate too.
Later I'll post the patchset which implements xen domU based on
ia64/pv_ops. Currently only ia64/xen pv_ops implementation

Hi. This patchset implements ia64/pv_ops support which is the
framework for virtualization support.
Changes from take 5 are rebased to Linux 2.6.26-rc3,
bug fix ivt.S paravirtualization and multi entry point support.
I believe these patches can be applied to the linux ia64 repository.

[PATCH 00/09] arm: tools: build for arm64 and enable cross-compiling for both arm32 and arm64
The following patches shave some rough edges off the tools build system
to allow cross compiling for at least arm32 and arm64 based on the
Debian/Ubuntu multiarch infrastructure. They also add the necessary
fixes to build for arm64 (which I have only tried cross, not native).
I have posted some instructions on how to compile with these patches on
the wiki:

gcc has atomic builtins to do this kind of work. I don''t know about arm, but they do the job in x86
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-4.1.1/gcc/Atomic-Builtins.html
so atomic_inc(val) -> __sync_fetch_and_add(val, 1) and likewise for dec/sub
