Search not finding queries with stop words.
I have a search in perl that looks a bit like: my $qp = new Search::Xapian::QueryParser(); $qp->set_stemmer(new Search::Xapian::Stem("english")); $qp->set_stemming_strategy(STEM_SOME); $qp->set_default_op($defaultop); ... my $par = $qp->parse_query($query); my $enq = $xDatabase->enquire( $par ); and in the db create script: my $stopper =

helping with scriptaculous/Thomas Fuchs MIA?
Hi, In the last few days I''ve been working a lot on rewriting the dragdrop.js code. I''ve made changes for what I think is stronger object-oriented design and made more parallels between how Droppbables and Draggables are coded and instantiated. I have multiple selection and dragging of draggables working and droppables can accept multiple draggables in one drop. There are some

Just an observation. I have not seen the spam you are discussing. Possibly it is specific to gmail addresses? -----Original Message----- From: R-help [mailto:r-help-bounces at r-project.org] On Behalf Of Luis Puerto Sent: April 17, 2018 4:11 PM To: Peter Langfelder Cc: R-Help ML R-Project; Neotropical bat risk assessments Subject: Re: [R] Hacked Hi! Hi! This happened to me also! I just got a spam email just after posting and then in following days I got obnoxious spam emails in my spam filter. As the others, I think that there is some kind of bot subscribed to the list, but also perhaps a spider or crawler monitoring the R-Help archive and getting email addresses there. Nabble is a possibility too. > On 17 Apr 2018, at 21:50, Peter

PLEASE HELP Adit 600 went kaput?
After months of setting up Asterisk. I completed the final testing last night We would go live on Monday. Or so I thought. As I moved the Adit 600 back out of the way, sliding it six inches. I noticed the major light was red as were both T1 and T2 lights ( eventhough only one t1 port is being used ) -- I have no idea what these lights mean or if they were lit before when things were working.

I got some spam emails after my last post to the list, and the emails did not seem to go through r-help. The spammers may be subscribed to the r-help, or they get the poster emails from some of the web copies of this list (nabble or similar). Need help to understand integrate function
Hi, I'm running into a wall when trying to use the integrate function. I have the following setting: powerLaw2 <- function(x,l1,l2,c0,t0) { idx <- which(x <= 0); if (length(idx) > 0) { x[idx] <- 0; } xl <- (-l1+l2)*log(x/t0); L <- log(c0)-l1*log(x)-log(1+exp(xl)); L <- exp(L); return(L); } plCDF2 <- function(x,l1,l2,c0,t0) {

Seems it must be the R-list. A horde of ?solicitation? emails began arriving about 27 minutes after I posted about not seeing any! Had left work by that time, so did not encounter them until now. How to resolve SMS/WAP/MMS/VoIP gateways on a shoestring?
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what options I have for mapping incoming/outgoing SMS messages to/from a telephone number that I am given by a VoIP provider who does not currently offer SMSC services? In other words, Voicepulse, my VoIP provider, provides me with a PSTN terminated number (hypothetically 222-222-2222). I use my Asterisk server to handle the calls that

How are user and group SID's generated?
Greetings, Hoping someone can shed some light on this. I've been searching for over a week and cannot find information on how Samba generates SID's from Unix UID's and GID's. I keep running into situations where after adding a new user to my CentOS server all other users are suddenly prevented from accessing shares that have a group ACL assigned. I finally figured out that

Belkin and newhidups (was: Belkin F6C550-AVR UPS)
Zaid, I have a Belkin F6C800-UNV which has both a serial and USB connector. The serial connection is already working with the Belkinunv driver. I will connect via the USB and then compare both sets of variables. This should allow me to correlate and shed some light on the meaning of many of Belkin's non-standard "Usage" descriptors. With this information, it should be very easy

smbd process has high CPU utilization
Hello, I installed samba 3.01 on my Gentoo Linux box. Recently, I find a strange problem that after I manipulate the shares on the samba server, which is my Linux box, from my Windows XP Pro workstation, the smbd process does not quit even after the file manipulation is done. When I was using Samba 2.2.8, I never saw such problem. Can anybody shed some light? Thanks! -- Peter Wu Powered by

full_audit on Samba 3.0.20 vs 3.0.25
Hi List, Just a quick question for you: Does Samba 3.0.20 support the full_audit module? I've got the module operating on two boxes, one with Samba 3.0.25 and the other with 3.0.20, and only the former seems to interpret VFS directives, such as: full_audit:prefix = %u full_audit:failure = none full_audit:success = open write close On the 3.0.20 box, they seem to be ignored,

trust relationship fails
Hi, So I have this samba file server, samba-3.0.10-1.4E.9 to be exact, that is a member of an NT 4 domain. It usually works great for days and days. But every now and again clients will start getting this message: The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed. At that point I've simply removed the server from the domain and re-added it, and then things start
