Dovecot ACL
I am using 1.0-rc19 version. I made a global ACL file in
/etc/dovecot-acls/Public as:
owner lrsi
user=manager rl
The owner cannot delete/move mail inside his Public folder as I want. But
the user "manager" cannot subscribe/view to other's Public folder. What I
have missed?

And here's my acl file:

Quick thanks for wonderful ACLS!
Hi again,
Just testing the ACLs, as one of our clients do not want users to delete
or move Sent emails.
Following http://wiki.dovecot.org/ACL and creating:
/etc/dovecot-acls/Sent
with this in it:
owner lrsi
Works a treat.
We love Dovecot! ;-)

problem plotting nls objects: couldn't find function "..."
Dear R-help,
I can't plot nls objects for some reason. The following example, taken from
help(plot.nls) illustrates the problem:
> data(Orthodont)
> fm1 <- lme(distance ~ age, Orthodont, random = ~ age | Subject)
> plot(fm1, resid(., type = "p") ~ fitted(.) | Sex, abline = 0)
Error in do.call(plotFun, as.list(args)) :

http://dovecot.org/releases/dovecot-1.0.rc19.tar.gz.sig
Just did a few more fixes to index files. Do they help with anyone's problems?
- ACL plugin didn't work unless control dir was separate from maildir
- More index file handling fixes

I don't know exactly the appropriate list to ask this question in but the
web page gave me the impression this was.
I don't particularly want to subscribe to the list as I can't handle the
volume of messages which I'm not concerned with.
I would just like to be able to ask a question concerning the email subject
and receive ONLY replys to that message. I'm not too familiar with

So, rc19 was somewhat broken. How about this version?

the error log is easily found.
+ Added mail_log_max_lines_per_sec setting. Change it to avoid log
throttling with mail_log plugin.

lda sieve broken after upgrade
upgraded to rc19. using maildirs. solaris 9/cc.
removed all modules from pop/imap/lda subdirs and first upgraded dovecot
to rc19 and then used dovecot-sieve-1.0.1 sources to build against the
dovecot source directory ( everything now builds nicely on Solaris, thank
you Timo ). added "cmusieve" to the list of plugins used by lda.
ail_plugins = cmusieve
now getting this:

rc18->rc19: read/unread/reply flags broken
Timo,
This might be a bit vague, but I have noticed that rc19 seems
to have broken the read/unread/reply flags in imap. My officemate
has had problems with messages that are read and marked as read then
mysteriously get remarked as unread the next time email is checked.
I've had problems where I reply to a message and it does not get
marked as "answered". We didn't see this

Query: LSUB "" "*" still on rc19
Hi all,
We've downgraded to rc17 for the past week or so, as when we upgraded to
rc19, this error did go, but came back again.
ERROR: Could not complete request.
Query: LSUB "" "*"
Reason Given: Internal error occurred. Refer to server log for more
information.
Looks like it never helped us in rc19. Back on rc17 just now, which we
still have to restart a few times a day,

Mail Answered status flag in pine stopped working in rc19
The Flag indicating that a message has been Answered does not work in
pine. The status flags for New and Deleted work as always. The Answered
flag worked properly in dovecot 0.99, but after upgrading to 1.0rc19 it
stopped working. Interestingly, mail that was answered before upgrading
to rc19 still shows the proper flag.
I have tried with mbox_dirty_syncs turned on and off and I have tried

The sent-mail, trash, drafts mboxes are in /home/kric0999/mail/

selective POP3 user
I want to know if it is possible to limit some users to use POP3 service only in a server running BOTH IMAP and POP3 service. In other words, some users can choose IMAP or POP3 and some users can only use POP3.
