Using CURL
Hi, Here is my first step (call it a proof of concept) in using the "hint" priority with dynamic values. Background - this works exten => 12345,hint,SIP/12345-1 To make this a little dynamic, I used a web page to return to me the value of the sip registration. In other words, http://www.somepage.com/test.html returns the following (without quotes): "SIP/12345-1" I

Wiki restructure
Hi all, Now that there is an effort underway to improve the look/theme of the Wiki. I would like to discuss the content of the wiki. IMO there are too many links on the frontpage. With a new theme, the News/Events items on top can go into a sidebar, so that will be taken care of the news items. I will not discuss them here. But currently, there is little structure in all the links/titles on the

wiki -> txt
I've been trying to fix MoinMoin's text_plain formatter to produce readable output. It's almost correct, except I don't understand why I can't get the LF-adding rules correct. Either there are too many LFs or too few. And whenever I change something, something else breaks.. It's getting pretty annoying. So if anyone else wants to try getting it fixed that'd be great.

Rails to static site
For users without an internet connection we are thinking about converting a rather large site to a DVD. As dynamic solutions with databases seem hard (see another thread) we are also considering a static html version. The site is clearly convertible to a static version, I can make sure that all search functions are turned off. Can the conversion itself optimized with Rails? Do you know solutions

Web CVS Interface Currently Unavailable
I''ve removed the link from the index to the CVS WEB interface until I can figure out how to stop the %$#@s who are running HTTrack, WebStripper, etc. against it. In the mean time, all sites having in-progress sessions using these tools have been blacklisted. -Tom -- Tom Eastep \ Shorewall - iptables made easy AIM: tmeastep \ http://www.shorewall.net ICQ: #60745924 \

Does samba support fsync() a directory?
Hi! Afair, fsync()ing a directory is subject to platform-specific and implementation-defined behaviour, and may either - work as you'd want and (probably) expect - fail with an error - fail silently at least if your application targets more than one operating system/kernel - and even on one and the same platform, different filesystems might exhibit sublty different patterns of behaviour.

Unable to set up home share correctly
Hello Rowland, the home folder creation works now(!) It was a misunderstanding on my side. The key phrase in the wiki is: "Close the users properties window with „OK“ to save the modification. **The users home directory is created on the fly during the save processes.**" This is a different behaviour as with the "profiles" folders which are created during the first login

script to make webpage snapshot
Dear Experts, Could someone recommend a script or utility one can run from command line on Linux or UNIX machine to make a snapshot of webpage? We have a signage (xibo) and whoever creates/changes content, likes to add URLs of some webpages there. All works well if these are webpages on our servers (which are pretty fast), but some external servers often take time to respond and take time to

Latest tarball doesn''t compile
1) SetScrollRange and SetScroll page in wxWindow.h is apparently only defined for ''microwindows''. No idea what that is but it''s not Windows. I replaced the #if !__WXGTK__ with #if __WXMICROWIN__ See patched wxWindow.h file. 2) wxIcon does not (on windows at least) descend from wxBitmap. I don''t have the gtk or mac headers to compare against.
