Testing Wiki migration - asking for testers
Hi nice people interested in CentOS Docs and wiki ! There were already threads about migrating the wiki to something else (mediawiki, $other), or staying with moinmoin (what we now have in place). This mail isn't about that thread (but feel free to start a new one about that possible migration or not), but about just migrating the current moinmoin instance from the current machine to a new

wiki.centos.org .. what's next ?
Hello Fabien, First, thank you for even trying for what seems to be an impossible task :( Quick points : - if it was decided not to continue, what would happen to the current wiki ? Dismantled or would it remain as read-only for documentation purpose ? - What about Sphinx <http://www.sphinx-doc.org/en/stable/> ? seems to be frequentely used nowadays - As you mentioned, a solution of the

wiki.centos.org .. what's next ?
it's all in the title : what's next for wiki.centos.org ? As a reminder, current wiki.centos.org instance is powered by moinmoin (https://moinmo.in/) but quite an old version (moin-1.5.8-3.el6.noarch) Recently I had a quick look at trying to update/upgrade that version to something newer/supported, but it's a nightmare : the data conversion just kill the target server (oom) and no

How to edit the wiki
Hi, I made a manual related to How to install CentOS Directory Server, and this is in spanish. I would like to add this to the wiki, in the following URL: http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos In the section 2. Directory Services But, I don't know how to edit the wiki. I have used before dokuwiki and mediawiki, but this wiki looks like moin or another. What implementation is this? Thanks! --

The top menu bar has now language dependent settings. If I click Russian wiki from Front Page, the menu still English. Should I add russian links ( as HowTo, Tips&Tricks etc) into Russian Front Page to allow Russian users open this pages on the native language? 2015-08-23 2:49 GMT+06:00 Ilyas Arinov <arinov.ilyas at gmail.com>: > Ok, it was temporary I think. Paid summer project: advanced integration of Xapian into MoinMoin wiki
Dear list readers, I just wanted to tell that the MoinMoin wiki project is taking part in Google's "Summer of Code 2006" and one of the project students might get paid for an advanced integration of Xapian into MoinMoin wiki, exploiting what Xapian can do. Required: you must be a university student, have Xapian knowledge and know Python (MoinMoin is coded in Python). You will have

raw text Access for http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories, Please.
Oops, I copied the page with the acl of the original page, which, of course, means I can't edit it. Lesson learned, I hope. Could you please fix the acl so I may proceed with my edit? Sorry to be such a bother. I'm more used to working on Wikimedia wiki's. My MoinMoin skills are rusty. On Tue, Dec 9, 2014 at 1:28 PM, PatrickD Garvey <patrickdgarveyt at gmail.com> wrote: >

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'd like to start making formal submissions to the wiki. I'm back-filling this request as Jim Perrin already added me to the wiki edit group. I'm relearning how Moin Moin access works (it's been a while but Fedora used to use Moin) and I've been using the MediaWiki style of edit/contributions so I'll need to re-adjust to how

committing won''t push to production -- you have tested I assume locally? localhost:3000 shows your changes? if so, I can simply go on to the server where it is deployed and issue: svn export (or svn update) and restart the application for changes to actually propagate. svn log shows your commit, that is all well and good: SeeBQ-MacBook:~/rails_apps/atlrug.org cbq$ svn update U
