evented mongrel dies on USR2
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but when I run mongrel
evented using swiftiply and then send it the USR2 signal to restart
it, it dies. Without eventing, USR2 restarts mongrel as expected.
Anyone else seen this?

Troubleshooting unresponsive mongrel
Hi. I have mongrel 1.0.1 running a really simple application and found
to lock up (rarely, but still). There''s nothing in the logs, it just
stops responding. When I mongrel_rails stop it, I get lots of entries like:

upgrading rails to 1.2.2 giving me mongrel errors
I''m working on upgrading to rails 1.2.2 from 1.1.6 and getting the mongrel
error below in development mode. Now things seem to work fine with 1.1.6and
1.2.2 (in prod mode).
Any ideas what might cause this? Googling gave me very little to work

strange bugs while using mongrel, while running in development (and also sometimes in production mode)
Following errors are taken from monrgrel running in development mode. It
complained routes.rb, no such file or directory and then sometimes i get
application.rb, no such file or directory.Doesn''t seem correct to me.
Though not so often, but even production servers throw these errors
sometimes, and i have no special routes setup or something.Its pretty much
default one, except few changes

mongrel timing out
I am not sure when it exactly occurred but I have 2 servers I am about to
migrate to apache+mongrel from lighty+fastcgi
oddly, both my servers seemed to have died at the same time everytime I
restart within a 24 hr period ( I don''t know when, my logs don''t show it ).
Can someone please point me in the direction of what I need to do to trace
the cause of this. Or what you would

Help mongrel keeps crashing...
Alright, it seems that I am having a bit of a problem with mongrel. My
mongrel processes have been crashing pretty often and twice last night. I''m
really not sure why, but I really need to fix it. I am running 0.3.13.3. Here
is the mongrel.log file. Any ideas, things to look at, etc... is appreciated.

Mongrel errors on file upload
I did a spike in my sandbox to make sure I understood how to do file uploads using CGI and there seems to be a problem with Mongrel. WEBrick doesn''t display the problem, but I can reproduce it everytime with Mongrel. I''d really appreciate it if someone would try out the code below and see if they see the same thing.

Yet another "mongrel dying daily" case
I was hoping that someone can help me with this, which have been driving
me nuts -- I have had my mongrel cluster dying daily. And yes, I have
gone through the check list of possible causes:

I use active_record for session storage

RMagick load problems?
I have a page (model: daily_progress_chart) that uses RMagick and
ImageMagick to create a chart using RVG. A few days ago (after some
updates to Rails), this chart stopped working on both my development
machine (MacBook Pro) and the production server (Gentoo Linux). I get
the following error messages. I am totally lost, but I assume that there
is a problem with RMagick. Any ideas anyone?
