Instant Rails speed on my puter..
Hi. I''ve installed Instant Rails, and when testing my rails apps, I''m noticing the load time is quite noticable. I''m concerned when I convert to real produciton, going live, if there''s going to be the same delay, plus additional bandwith traveling time. I am running on a pentium 4.. Insights on speed.. Code suggestions with Radrails .rhtml view files
anyone been successful with implementing code hints in the Views folder with radrails in eclipses? There is a tutorial out there that suggests you edit the jsp folder (http://www.napcs.com/howto/railsonwindows.html#_Toc111133462) but i think when you add rails, that jsp folder somehow disappears or something. i don''t like that idea anyway, cause i don''t like jsp hints

Is it possible to generate the IR representation with the original macro information?
Hi, I use the following commands to compile the IR. But I don't see the macro information in the .ll file. Is there a way to preserve the macro information (print() in this case) for debugging purposes? $ clang -std=gnu99 -g3 -flto -Wall -pedantic -c -o main.o main.c $ clang main.o -flto -fuse-ld=gold '-Wl,-plugin-opt=save-temps' -o main.exe $ llvm-dis main.exe.0.0.preopt.bc /* vim:

Exposing sound files through http for links
Hi. I'd like for my sound files to be exposed through http. You know, the ones located in var/lib/asterisk/sounds. This is probably an apache thing i'd have to configure or is accessible through some asterisk http routing? 1. how one would configure this? 2. what are the security costs of doing this to asterisk? - Dominic

SAS Macros for R Users Only
I think SAS Macros has capability to call R, and execute it without it being in the picture anywhere. So you can use SAS Macros in a file called R.sas In this you can create a macro called %Describe that can call R , load Hmisc ,run the describe function Note you will need repeated use of %put in this %describe for the mapping to take place Use %INCLUDE to include that file in all SAS

The Agile Book Messageboard?
Hello. Where is there an Agile Messageboard? On the first part of the Depot example, a price field shouldn''t be an integer right? (it should be more of a float since a price has decimals) Dominic Son -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

What replaces Macro() now? And how do you do the equivalent?
I've been working on getting the sample configuration of extensions.conf to be more usable, i.e. to make the examples be more flexible or cover more territory... I thought it might be handy to show people how to use more contexts for virtual hosting, for example. Problem is I was using the existing stdexten macro from 1.2. Vservices.inv of Julian Pawlowski anoyne has the macro-dailer for this?
Hi, I've found the Vertical Service Codes / vservices.inc of Julian in the cache of google. It's an very extended extensions include with all the *21 *67 etc services implemented so it is stored to ODBC or if you replace it to Dbget/put etc. I'm wondering if somebody has the macro/agi for using these extensions once stored in the Asterisk db or ODBC. Or am I missing something? And

Howdy, I'm working on a macro that authenticates the calling extension against a list of allowed extensions but it looks like the Expression I'm attempting to send of pipe separated extensions is showing up as additional arguments to my macro. I expected to have 4 arguments to the below macro, Instead it looks like I'm actually getting 6. I'm open to suggestions to other ways

%S Macro seems broken in default service
I am having trouble with the %S Macro being expanded to an unexpected value. We have a section of disk where each directory under that directory is to be it's own share. This looks like: /export/ /export/share1 /export/share2 . . /export/shareN Rather than listing each share uniquely in the smb.conf, we put this in the global section: default service = export along with all of our
