SSL error is it due to a self certified certificate?
Hi I have set up dovecot with a self signed SSL certificate, created with the mkcert.sh script. Now I see the following in the log: pop3-login: SSL_accept() failed: error:14094416:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert certificate unknown [206.124.112.22] pop3-login: Disconnected: rip=206.124.112.22, lip=204.3.153.71, TLS handshake Is this caused by my self certified certificates. using filter while Reading files -
Dear R'sians.. I apologize if this topic has been beaten to death and hope that hawks don't pounce on me! Could you please suggest an efficient way to filter rows from 500+ text files (some with 30000+ rows with multiple section table headers) residing in several folders? I guess probably "scan" is the fastest way to scan a file, but, I noticed it sometimes takes a long time

Dovecot 2.3.0 TLS
All, our dovecot installation provides a bundle of intermedia CA certificates using the ssl_ca option. 2.3.0 does not supply the bundle, resulting in various clients either complaining about an unverifiable server cert, or quietly not connecting. PPPoE/ADSL configuration questions.
I am building a CentOS 5 box to ship to Houston which will be a gateway system on an SBC DSL connection for a while until the client gets a T1 installed. I have read up on using adsl-setup and related software, but never done PPPoE on anything but LinkSys commodity boxes. I have examined the adsl-setup script, and I think I understand how this works, but want to be sure I understand things

UK Vodafone messaging, ISDN, Wrong CallerID being used.
I've a strange problem with CallerID when calling Vodafone mobile's from my Asterisk Box. If I dial out on my ISDN-30, setting the CallerID to my DDI (XXX802), a Vodafone mobile correctly shows the incoming call with this number and if the phone's not answered it shows a missed call from XXX802. All very good. However, if the call is not answered and goes to the Vodafone messaging

[LLVMdev] clarification to copyright section of developer policy
Hi All, I updated the copyright section of the developer policy: http://llvm.org/docs/DeveloperPolicy.html#copyright This change doesn't affect any llvm policies, it just makes the developer policy reflect reality. The previous version (archived here: http://llvm.org/releases/2.7/docs/DeveloperPolicy.html#copyright) used to claim that all copyright was assigned to the university of

Dovecot IMAPS : Thunderbird SSL cert issue / Evolution OK
Hello, This is a selfsigned cert. Both of the below methods were used. May I ask for 1. pointer to info setting up "intermediate certs" and where the certfile goes? The objective is to generate a self-signed cert and use it for just internal use with IMAPS dovecot. Separately, what are your thoughts as to why evolution works and thunderbird does not? Thank you, ==1 openssl
