rsync.dovecot.org
Looks like at least some people still want to rsync their own local dovecot.org mirrors, so I've now added rsync support back. Use rsync.dovecot.org as the host. You can rsync: hg dovecotweb dovecotwiki dovecotwiki2 and mbox files of mailing list archives: dovecotmail dovecotnewsmail dovecotcvsmail So for example: rsync -az rsync://rsync.dovecot.org/dovecotweb dovecotweb

expire-tool and userdb returned mail location
Hello, I'm having problems with expire-tool in Dovecot 1.2.6 not finding the mailboxes. I had mail_location = mbox:/var/spool/dovecotmail/%d/%n/mails:INDEX=/var/spool/dovecotmail/%d/%n/indexes in dovecot.conf, but that doesn't work with expire-tool. So I commented that out from dovecot.conf, all the data is in a database anyway. A userdb lookup returns the following for userid at

Corrupted mdbox on LMTP director delivery while user is logged in via IMAP
Hi, we get errors about corrupted indexes and we are losing flags with mdbox on NFSv4: Error: Recent flags state corrupted for mailbox Error: Corrupted dbox file Error: Corrupted transaction log file It looks like a LMTP director problem. The user has IMAP IDLE connections open and lmtp delivers to another host. This leads to nfs corruption problems. The user is logged into mail04 and has some

lmtp proxy timeout while waiting for reply to DATA reply
Hi, we are experiencing similar sporadic data timeout issues with dovecot 2.0.20 as in http://dovecot.org/pipermail/dovecot/2011-June/059807.html at least once a week. Some mails get temporarily deferred in the postfix queue since dovecot director lmtp refuses them and the mails are delivered at a later time. The problem applies to mails delivered to single users as well as distribution lists

Dovecot usage values differ from actual disk usage
Hi, in my dovecot setup the accounting database table shows wrong values which do not correspond with the actual disk space used. The disk usage says 2.6 Gigabytes: mail01:~# du -sh /mail/dovecot/example.org/username 2.6G /mail/dovecot/example.org/username While the doveadm quota get says 7 Gigabytes for the same user: mail01:~# doveadm -f tab quota get -u username at example.org Quota name

Are the instructions on freedesktop.org still OK?
I've been following the nouveau git, but it seems now that when I follow the instructions on it [1], I end up with a kernel v3.12 rather than 3.16rc7 (though that is a branch in my repo). I guess I don't yet grok how git works with remote masters. I want to update to the latest Linus git kernel + latest nouveau. Is it really just `git remote update` followed by `git reset --hard

deliver setgid issues
Okay .. have dovecot set up with following settings : userdb static { args = uid=97 gid=97 home=/export/dovecot/mail/%d/%u mail=mbox:/export/dovecot/mbox/%d/%u/ } passdb passwd-file { # Path for passwd-file args = /etc/dovecot-passdb } Passdb works I think in the sense that I can log into dovecot using a regular mail client. The real issue is when I try to deliver

[LLVMdev] Problem building 2.0 release with .sln on win32 (and patch)
Hi I was getting an error building the x86 project using the .sln included with the 2.0 release. VS was unable run the Custom Build Step for X86.td for reasons which were not clear to me. It spit out an obtuse "Format of the path is incorrect" error, and then proceeded to run only the last 4 lines of the custom build step for X86.td. (??) Is there something obvious that I'm missing?

why does the unsubscribe not work
Hi I have tried to unsubscribe from this list now three times, I desperately need to unsubscribe from this list from this address because the list is choking this mailbox. Below are the various suggested ways of unsubscribing > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help > or, via email, send a message with subject or body

CentOS-2 Final finally released
At long last I have uploaded CentOS-2 Final to the centos mirrors :) Some information on CentOS-2 is available here http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/centos-2/index.htm as well as the caos web site. Surely no one will find any bugs or problems, but if you do, email is better for me ATM than IRC. John. -- John Newbigin - Computer Systems Officer School of Information Technology Swinburne

Rails Book finally hits Japan
...and everybody is struggling with the globalization/localization. I''ve been monitoring the Japanese rails mailing list and there''s a Tokyo study group already drawing attention. I think they''re having their fourth meeting soon. There''s a couple toy applications out there and I believe cookpad.com is currently being rewritten with rails in the background.

Alarmreciver finally found ATA
Hi, I finally found an ATA which works really well with asterisk and its application alarmreceiver. Frankly it works just like the TDM card. It is Soundwin S800 series ATA. well I finally got Keepass installed on CentOS The libraries for qt4 are actually located at pbone as well as keepass. I would love to know how to add pbone.net as a trusted repo in Yum, just for you guys that like to work with cross operating systems and having a password manager. Keepass is pretty good for all platforms and I even have it on my blackberry. -------------- next part

Wifi connection finally solved
After a year or so of trying to get wifi-cards of various brands and chipsets to work, today it finally happened! I got my 3com 3CRPAG175 to jump to it and connect to the department WPA2 AP! I wouldn't have done it without your help. Thanks all! One question though, should it really take upwards of a minute or so till the NetworkManager says it's now connected?? -- BW, Sorin

finally, an open alternative to Viber
The rise of Viber has, for some people, been a case of `skype, not again!' until now... Lumicall is now in the Android market - and it fully interacts with other SIP products using ENUM and SRV records. Any feedback on this is welcome. Interconnect (Asterisk calling to/from Lumicall users) is based on the idea of federated SIP, it is explained at http://www.lumicall.org for those who want

Time to finally remove the old Om names?
Xapian 0.7.0 changed all the external names to use a Xapian namespace rather than an Om prefix (for classes) or an om_ prefix (for types). I implemented a compatibility layer which allowed older code to still be compiled, with the plan that this would be removed after a transition period to give people a chance to update their code. Xapian 0.7.0 was released on 2003-07-03 - more than a year ago.

[LLVMdev] Implementing try/catch/finally

It would be better, I > think, to set a state variable before entering the 'finally' block, and > then have it do a switch instruction at the end and transfer to the > appropriate block. I think gcc just duplicates the block (see tree-eh.c).
