Migrations for migrating data across databases - is it possible?
Hi All I am trying to understand if I can use migrations to migrate data under the following conditions 1. Across 2 different databases (Oracle/DB2) with same schemas. 2. Across 2 different databases (Oracle/DB2) with different schemas. I am trying to avoid writing DBI/OCI8 scripts. Can somone please shed some light if this is even possible? thanks -daya -------------- next part

rbind-ing numeric matrices
Good morning, I'm running into trouble rbind-ing numeric matrices with differing numbers of rows. In particular, there seem to be issues whenever a one-row numeric matrix is involved. Assume A is a numeric matrix with 1 row and Y columns and B is a numeric matrix with X rows and Y columns. Let C be the result of rbinding A and B. Then C is a numeric matrix with X + 1 rows and Y columns, only

Problems w/ CentOS 4.4 ....
.... I just installed CentOS 4.4 yesterday P.M., on my 2.4 GHz P4 box, Foxconn i865 mbd, 2 GB DDR400 RAM (4 X 512 MB), 1 X 20 GB HDD (hda), 1 X 160 GB HDD (hdb), 1 X LG GSA H22N DVD reader/burner (hdc), 1 X 400 GB HDD (hdd), Coolmax CP500-T PSU. I wiped SuSE 9.2 off of the 20 GB drive & installed CentOS. The other 2 drives were already ext3 FS & will be mounted as /home & /work

Tripplite Smart1200LCD and Debian
Hey all, I am trying to use NUT for a Tripplite Smart1200 LCD on a fresh copy of Debian 6.0.2.1. I installed NUT version 2.4.3 and I have pored through pages and pages of other posts, but for the life of me I can not get it to recognize the Tripplite. I know its an 09ae:2009 device and I've tried to add a rule in /lib/udev/rules.d/52-nut-usbups.rules as according to some posts, but to no

Can only log on to domain, not local machine
Used Administrator login on XP client to grant domain users rights to log on to client machine (such as when offline). All attempts to log on to local machine fail authentication (error "System could not log you on. Check user name and domain..."). Everything else works fine, including logon to domain and synchronization of offline folders. Frustrating having all data available offline

Trust between Samba PDC and AD domain
I've pored through the documentation, wiki, lists, etc, and I can't seem to come to a concise conclusion on how to accomplish this. My specific scenario is the following. I have a samba PDC domain called domainA, and an AD domain called domainB. domainA and domainB are different named domains, and they each authenticate logins and credentials on their own turf. The users on domainA

Mounts on Mac, Linux but not Win98 - bad password
I am trying to set up Samba for the very first time in my life on a SlackWare Linux 7.1 system. I'm using kernel 2.4.2, and the Samba 2.0.7 that comes precompiled with Slackware 7. I'm only moderately clueful at this point, but I have experience with other Linux and networking stuff. I can build Samba from sources if you think that would help. I ran through the diagnostic tests given

Document Management System in Rails
Hi Is anyone aware of any Document Management System in Rails. Googling didn''t help me find any Rails based solution. The DMS I need, need to have the following feature apart form the usual ones. 1. Version control of documents. 2. Tracking version control for each group of users independently from the other group . These groups may share the same document name but may have different

Its a regression from 2.2.1. not yet! @Alex: any idea on your side (change of the default driver or something alike) this seems to be a timing or reading problem according to the "short read" msg Artin, can you also post the debug drivers's output of 2.2.1 for comparing? --

[LLVMdev] code generation for ARM
Thanks for your reply. I have a normal (../configure --enable-profiling --disable-optimized --enable-assertions) llvm debug+profile+assert build. I am generating llvm-bitcode using following commands. llvm-gcc -DLINUX_i386 -DSPEC_CPU2000 -O3 -emit-llvm 186.crafty/src/valid.c -c -o 186.crafty/src/valid.bc --- llvm-link 186.crafty/src/*.bc -o 186.crafty/186.crafty.rel.bc and finally: llc

[LLVMdev] code generation removes duplicated instructions
Hello, I am duplicating few instructions in a basic block and splitting it. The following is an example. bb: ; preds = %bb1 %0 = load i32* %i, align 4 %1 = getelementptr inbounds [100 x i32]* %a, i32 0, i32 %0 store i32 0, i32* %1, align 4 %2 = load i32* %i, align 4 %3 = getelementptr inbounds [100 x i32]* %last_added, i32 0, i32 %2 store

[LLVMdev] specint2000 as external tests
Hi Duncan, Do you have sources also in the $LLVM_SRC_ROOT/projects/test-suite/External/SPEC/CINT2000/164.gzip? The following is content of above directory in my case. I have copied the CINT2000 sources in this directory manually. $ls -1 $LLVM_SRC_ROOT/projects/test-suite/External/SPEC/CINT2000/164.gzip 164.gzip.reference_output 164.gzip.reference_output.small compile_info compile_parms

Can migrations be used for these cases?
Hi A newb question. Can I use migrations if all of the following requirements are imposed at the same time. 1. Copy data from an old schema to a new schema, the difference in the 2 schemas is about 25%, 3 new tables and 4 new columns. 2. Copy data from Oracle schema to DB2 schema, around 25% difference in 2 schemas as above. 3. Neither old nor the new schema tables have an

Hi All, I am trying to configure llvm so with test-suite enabled. I have downloaded the test-suite. Spec 2000 benchmarks sources are plugged in speccpu2000 at $LLVM_SRC_ROOT/projects/test-suite-externals/speccpu2000/benchspec e.g.: 164.gzip dir is $LLVM_SRC_ROOT/projects/test-suite-externals/speccpu2000/benchspec/164.gzip My configure command is: ../configure --disable-optimized

mongrel logging on win32 platform and win32 service
Hi All I am using version 0.3.13.3 and since there is no logging support for win32 application. I was wondering if it was possible to get any kind of logging at all. I have tried to these two options 1. Stream redirection using "mongrel_rails start -c C:/myspace/snapshot -p 4111 -t 70 -e production -P log/mongrel-1.pid > C:\temp\mongrel-1.log" The console print the output stream

[LLVMdev] Introducing myself, and Java project.
You probably want to sit down and have a long talk with Jeroen Frijters, the principal behind the IKVM project. Note that you will have to deal with ClassLoaders at some level, regardless of what you'd prefer. > A more obvious problem is, of course, that it is not possible to > compile Java code statically and save the result in the disk. > That is untrue--last time I checked, gcj

[LLVMdev] code generation removes duplicated instructions
Thank you for replying. Yes. The remaining part of the BB is in splitted basic block. The following is an example code generation for arm and x86 for a same IR BB. In the x86 code I can see that the same computation is done twice and result is stored in two different registers and then these two different registers are used for comparision. By the way I am duplicating instruction and inserting

[LLVMdev] code generation for ARM
Thank you all for the inline assembly pointer. I have some macros (FD_ZERO, FD_SET) in benchmark code which comes from C library select (synchronous I/O multiplexing) and it does contain inline assembly. Is there a way the code containing such macros can work for ARM if compiled through llvm? Thanks Daya On Tue, Jun 14, 2011 at 3:02 PM, Duncan Sands <baldrick at free.fr> wrote: > Hi
