SSL connections frozen on Dovecot 1.0.0
Hello,
We are running Dovecot 1.0.0 (Debian Etch, Backports.org, OpenSSL) in a
production environment and we experience sporadic SSL connection problems.
At the moment, it's difficult to tell if the server goes back to normal
operation after some time or if it can be reproduces at any time because we
have to restart it as soon as we get Nagios alerts.
Some tests with openssl s_client have

(debian builds 1.0.13 is from etch-backports).
I initially upgraded as 1.0.rc17 isn't compiled with regex support, so

Trying to rename spatial pts data frame slot that isn't a slot()
Dear List,
I am analyzing the home range area of fish and seem to have lost the individuals ID names during my manipulations, and can't find out how to rename them. I calculated the MCP of the fish using mcp() in Adehabitat. MCP's were converted to spatial points data frame and exported to qGIS for manipulations. At this point the ID names were lost. I brought the manipulated

user_db, uid/gid and maildir
Im experimenting with putting all my virtual users mail under 1

mode on the directory (and subdirectories) is 770.
I keep all my virtual users details in a postgres database.
My interpretation of the wiki documentation is that if the user_db query
returns a uid column and a gid column containing the numeric uid and gid

CMU Sieve pluigin missing proper charset support

After testing the Sieve plugin for the LDA, I have noticed that it does

The ":subject" parameter specifies a subject line to attach to any
vacation response that is generated. UTF-8 characters can be used in
the string argument; implementations MUST convert the string to

Moving from pysieved to native ManageSieve?
If moving from pysieved to Dovecot native ManageSieve implementation, should this just work or do I need to do anything
with existing sieve filter rule files, etc?
Any reasons not to do the switch?
Regards,

panel ordering in nlme and augPred plots
Dear all
I am trying nlme together with Pinheiro/Bates book. I constructed
grouped data object with suitable plotting layout (according to
some common factor, panels from bottom to top are in increasing
order).
When I do nlme(... some stuff...) I get fitted object which I can plot
with
plot(augPred(fit.nlme6, level=0:1))
but it results in completely different ordering. Is there any way

We are running in the same issue as Maciej Polewczynski does in

Is there already a solution? I dont think so? In the TODO-File for 1.2.2
this issue is still reported:

Question about levels/as.numeric
Hi,
I am still new to R and this is my first post on this mailing-list.
I have two .csv (each one being a column of real numbers) coming from the
same database (the first one is just longer than the second) and I read them
in R the following way:
returns <- read.csv("test.csv", header = FALSE)
returns2 <- read.csv("test2.csv", header = FALSE)
However, the two

Announce: ogg2enc: Perl script to run oggenc twice
I recently started using Ogg Vorbis and decided I wanted high-quality
files on my desktop, and small files on my Zaurus; but I didn't want to
keep switching grip's configuration back and forth. So I wrote ogg2enc,
a Perl script which takes the same command-line arguments as oggenc, and
runs oggenc twice. The first run gets its command line munged to
produce a file at 64kpbs; the second
