MD5 mis-match
Hi all, I'm almost finished building our new load balanced email server that are attached to an NFS mountpoint. There are currently two e-mail servers connected to the NFS share. Both email servers are running CentOS 4.5 with Postfix 2.4.3, Dovecot 0.99, and authenticating via LDAP. Dovecot is using Maildir format. I've been trying to do some benchmarks using Postal and Rabid, and

AGI Script: calleridnamelookup.agi
Is anyone successfully using the AGI script calleridnamelookup.agi (or anything similar) ? I get both name and number caller ID from my POTS line, but I'd save money if I had them deliver ANI only. I've downloaded and installed the AGI script calleridnamelookup.agi, but I always get -- Executing AGI("SIP/9525485560-5359", "calleridnamelookup.agi") in new stack

Samba 4 and nsswitch
Having some difficulties determining which way to go here. Have an Ubuntu 10.2 server running S4Alpha11. The samba stuff is working well enough (though with a bit too much idle CPU consumption--haven't go there yet). However, I can't get proper responses for file system and user/group lookup. With AD in Samba 3 nsswitch.conf was passwd: files winbind group: files

Question about uninstalling a Windows app (ACDSee)
Hi! I managed to get ACDSee 8.0 installed via wine 0.9.14 but it doesn't run due to missing DLLs, like MFC71.DLL. There were other DLLs it complained about missing that were part of the ACDSee installation but since MFC71.DLL isn't there, no dice. :( Anywho, I want to uninstall ACDSee such that the registry is properly cleaned up, etc. How do I go about doing this? ntop from rpmforge
I don't know why I haven't signed up for this list before since we use CentOS all over the place. The list is very useful and it is good for me to participate and "give back" to the community. Anywho, I wanted to post this response to a thread that was created back in November 2008 about the ntop daemon failing to start. I'm currently setting up ntop as a NetFlow &

The ferret logs
Hi. We''ve had some problems with ferret not being able to load our classes (stack trace below for the curious). I nailed it down to a deployment issue, where an old instance of ferret drb was running. I don''t understand the details quite yet, but the result was the the old ferret was never shutdown during redeployment, and attempts were made to start up a new one. Anywho,

Ubuntu packages and broken link in docs
Hi, Two things: 1. Does anyone know of a good PPA with updated packages of Dovecot for Ubuntu? "For the latest Dovecot for latest Ubuntu LTS see Xiaoka APT Repository. (Outdated. Could someone provide a ppa for latest stable Dovecot, please?)" 2. On the http://wiki2.dovecot.org/PrebuiltBinaries#Ubuntu page there is a link to a supposedly outdated PPA, the ppa page now redirects to

testing authentication with basic_auth
hi, I''ve got an api which is using authenticate_or_request_with_http_basic What are you guys using to test this? I''m using rspec, and before I was using rspec-rails, I was using authorize from Rack::Test to do the authentication. However, authorize clearly doesn''t work when using rspec-rails, so I''m wondering what everyone else is doing? -- You received this
