Creating client certificates
I testing Puppet 0.19.3. If we decide to use it, we''d deploy it
across several thousand hosts. The method described for creating
client certificates described in the documentation - running
"puppetd --server <server> --waitforcert 60 --test" and "puppetca
--sign <client>" - is not practical for our installation. I''ve
tried creating

Getting a list of available methods from ActionWebService
Hi all,
I dug around a bit, may have missed it.
Is there a method automatically generated by ActionWebService (or
XMLRPC::Server) that a client can use to list all available service
methods (perhaps along with docs)? Or do I have to roll that myself?
Thanks,
Dan

Here is the proposed debdiff (actually, a git diff) for xen in jessie.

Rails Bug when loading required files for API?
Hello,
I have seen some odd behaviour of my Web Services code plus some
''similar'' postings to this list, so I believe this may be a bug in
Rails. But I''m failry new to RoR, so maybe I''m doing something wrong.
I''ll explain:
I have a WS API defined, communicating with a remote system that
expects a stucture:

[PATCH 0 of 4] mm+paravirt+xen: add pte read-modify-write abstraction
Hi all,
This little series adds a new transaction-like abstraction for doing
RMW updates to a pte, hooks it into paravirt_ops, and then makes use
of it in Xen.
The basic problem is that mprotect is very slow under Xen (up to 50x
slower than native), primarily because of the
ptent = ptep_get_and_clear(mm, addr, pte);
ptent = pte_modify(ptent, newprot);
/* ... */

Centos 6 2.6.32-696.18.7.el6.x86_64 does not boot in Xen PV mode
Problems start before any of the kaiser code executes, though it could still be related to CONFIG_KAISER since that has effects beyond kaiser.c.

Python script to collect domU stats
I''ve attached a python script that collects stats from DomUs (HVM and
PVM). I hope this would be useful for somebody else.
See comments for more info.

xend with XenAPI in stackless python-2.7
Hi,
I am using XEN-4.1.2 and linux-2.6.32 as dom0.
After I upgraded stackless python from 2.5 to 2.7 (and rebuilt xen).
XenAPI became unusable, I spent some time to investigate XenAPI,py, it
looks fine.
So, I guess xend has problem with python 2.7, because it always returned
method unknown.
Do I have to tweak xend to let it support python 2.7?
Thanks,
Eric

Multicall
This is my question:
it is possible to call from one phone many others phones in the same
time, like an "active" MeetMe function?
I.e.: I make a call with a specified number. Asterisk lets ring many
telephones together (like a group call). Then anyone that answer can
hear and speak like MeetMe.
Thanks for any answer.
