building dovecot-sieve against installed dovecot
Hi Timo, may I request once more to consider the attached patch for dovecot 1.1, it enables the sieve plugin (incl. sievec and sieved, needed for pysieved) to be built against an installed dovecot package, if --enable-header-install additionally installs the liblib.a library in the same directory as dovecot-config. I have included this patch in the pkgsrc dovecot 1.1 package a while ago. Geert

[LLVMdev] Problems building llvm-gcc-4.2 on ppc32, OS X 10.4.10
Hi, I'm guessing that no one has tried this exact combination yet. I'm trying to build the gcc4.2 front end with current LLVM SVN on a G4 Powerbook running 10.4.10. I started with this: ../gcc4.2-trunk/configure --prefix=$HOME/Documents/hpcl/LLVM/llvm-gcc-4-2/install --enable-llvm=$HOME/Documents/hpcl/LLVM/llvm-svn-obj/ --with-gmp=$HOME/Documents/hpcl/LLVM/llvm-gcc-4-2/libdeps

[LLVMdev] trouble compiling llvm-gcc4 1.9
I'm having some trouble getting llvm-gcc4 to compile. It's unable to compile darwin-crt3.c. It's mentioning "Complex expression. Absolute segment assumed." but I'm not sure if that's a real error message. Has anyone run into this before? I'm running on a G4 apple 10.4.8, kernel version 8.6.0. I googled around and found a bug with the same error message:

R_alloc problem (Mac OSX)
Hello. I'm having difficulties getting R_alloc() to work. The test platform is a 64-bit Mac running R 2.2.1 installed via a .dmg file obtained from the R site. Details are given below, in a level of detail that I hope is appropriate. My eye was particularly drawn to line #2 in the gdb 'where' output, but line #1 seems sensible so I may just be displaying my ignorance by
