[PATCH] upsd tcp_wrappers parsing and logging

This is not the case now. This causes

[PATCH]: Add tcp_wrappers protection to port forwarding
Hi, attached is a patch by Chris Faylor <cgf at cygnus.com> relative to 2.2.0p1. Description: OpenSSH does not allow port gatewaying by default. This means that only the local host can access forwarded ports. Adding "GatewayPorts yes" to .ssh/config usually does this job. Unfortunately, OpenSSH does not recognize the same hosts.allow/ hosts.deny options as ssh.com's sshd

[PATCH] tcp-wrappers support extended to x11 forwards
Hi! Here is the patch to support tcp wrappers with x11-forwarded connections. The patch is for openssh-3.0.1p1 but it works fine with 2.9.9p2 too. I've understood that this will not be included in the official version because it adds complexity (?!) to openssh. Binding the forwarded port to localhost doesn't solve all problems. I've understood that you should also implement

PATCH: make local IP address available to auth modules
The attached patch makes the local IP address to which the client connected available to the authentication modules; i.e., the local IP address is available for substitution as %i for the mysql and pgsql modules. We needed this feature to support thousands of our legacy accounts which are authenticated by username/local_part (not the full email address) and IP address (one per domain). Timo,

EOF from net_disconnect(fd)
Hi! Nice to hear you are developing this, I'll add it to our wiki if it's not there. Please don't use net_transmit, it's going away. You should use ostream and istream instead. [PATCH 0/3] tftp-hpa patches from Debian
From: Ron <ron at debian.org> Hi, I've just taken over maintaining the packages for this in Debian, and we've been carrying a couple of patches for a while now that really should have been forwarded since they're clearly not distro specific. I added a third one to that yesterday to fix another autoconf build 'race' seen when doing parallel builds. Cheers, Ron

EOF from net_disconnect(fd)
I'm not the originator. I'm just trying to do some maintenance on the code to make it work for CentOS 7. I'll check out those two. Any ideas on how to check exactly what's sent via the socket? If the EOF is sent, I know to dig further into the daemon code. Thanks, Steffan Cline steffan at hldns.com 602-793-0014 > On Sep 7, 2017, at 11:43 PM, Aki Tuomi <aki.tuomi at

ZFS Index corruption and Connection reset by peer
Hello, I'm currently using dovecot 1.2.11 on FreeBSD 8.0 with ZFS filesystems. So far, so good, it works quite nicely, but I have a couple glitches. Each user has his own zfs partition, mounted on /home/<user> (easier to set per user quotas) and mail is stored in their home. From day one, when people check their mail via imap, a lot of indexes corruption occured : dovecot:

Bug Report OpenSSH 2.3.0-p1-1.src.rpm for linux
Gentlemen: I'm running RedHat 6.2 here (out of the box, virtually no upgrades...) and while OpenSSH 2.2.0p1-2 will compile and run just fine, for some reason OpenSSH2.3.0p1 (Portable for Linux) will not. It configures just fine, but dies in the "make" as follows: ranlib libssh.a gcc -o ssh ssh.o sshconnect.o sshconnect1.o sshconnect2.o log-client.o readconf.o clientloop.o -L.

openssh-2.1.1p4 + libwrap problem
Hi all, I've hit a problem with OpenSSH 2.1.1p4 and TCP Wrappers, and have noticed others may also have seen the problem. When OpenSSH is compiled with wrapper support, access using standard userid/password fails - authentication works ok and a shell is gained and then immediately terminated. Running client in debug mode shows no obvious errors, and debug output from syslog also reveals

libwrap does it work on in 2.0?
Hi, I noticed recently that libwrap (TCP Wrappers) is supported, although disabled by default, in the current Dovecot 2.0 but doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere on the wiki. Is this working well/at all? Anyone care with experience using this care to share their experiences? My OS is FreeBSD, I noticed on some Linux distributions there may be issues, but this won't affect

FreeBSD / dovecot 2.2.27 / libwrap
I have compiled dovecot2 for FreeBSD with the tcpwrap option. A tcpwrap binary gets built and resides in the FreeBSD directory /usr/local/libexec/dovecot an examination of the compiled options (using the FreeBSD pkg install dovecot2) confirms: LIBWRAP : on yet, when I adjust dovecot.conf with: login_access_sockets = tcpwrap I get the following logged error message: 20161229 17:02:49
