stable libmilter leaks kqueue descriptors?
A few weeks back I upgraded my mail server to -STABLE from a 4.2-STABLE
incarnation that had been running for years. Part of recompiling
everything on the box involved disassociating my use of the
sendmail port I was using and to use the base sendmail in -STABLE.
-STABLE builds with libmilter, so I simply recompiled one of my
milter clients with the milter headers, objs, etc that were produced

Address Extensions with System Users
I am using Dovecot 1.2RC2 with Postfix 2.5.5. Everything is running fine.
I would like to start using address extensions and have e-mail
automatically filtered into folders based on the folder name after the "+"
in the e-mail address. I only use system users, no virtual users. I have
Deliver configured in main.cf as:
mailbox_command = /usr/local/libexec/dovecot/deliver

Received Dates/Squirrelmail
I am trying to figure out an issue I have with the e-mails in my inbox
showing up in Squirrelmail. I sometimes get (more often than I care for
it to happen) e-mails which show up as new either many hours ago or days
ago. I have one particular e-mail that in Squirrelmail is showing a data
of Tue, 8:23PM.
The received header of that e-mail shows:

Convert to DBox
I am thinking of trying out dbox format. I am currently using maildir.
Is it possible for me to switch just one user account to dbox while
keeping all of my other users on maildir? If so, how would I go about
doing that?
Here is a copy of my dovecot -n:

# OS: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 x86_64 Debian squeeze/sid ext3

processor affinity
Hello,
i am running CentOS 5.4. i have a requirement where i need to have 1
application have a single processor all to its self, and the rest of the
system run on the other processors. "taskman" lets me bind the process
to a processor(s), but it does not make it exclusive. Is this possible
to do? i have even tried mucking around with the rc.sysinit, but to no
avail.
thank you very

Curl help
I''ve been searching around for a curl implementation on ruby and havn''t
had much luck. I have run into open-uri and Net::HTTP but they just
arnt as robust as curl. The closest thing i found was this previous
thread from July

on using ruby-dl to load libcurl. Has anyone gotten any farther on this

live mpeg4 input
That will only happen if something is really wrong. Might be better
to figure out what it might be.
Icecast buffers a bit (in order to burst into a client buffer) but it
doesn't buffer increasingly over time. That will only happen if the
client is falling farther and farther behind, not icecast.

smartd stalls the system on reboot
I have begun to notice that the smartd stalls my machine's boot process for
as much as 2-3 minutes while it is coming up. I have the BIOS SMART
function enabled, and I removed the bad SG400GB drive from the box
yesterday, but I think this goes back farther than that.
Why does it take so long? Is the BIOS SMART involved in this (and how)?
Also, sendmail and sm-client take 30s-2m to come up

[LLVMdev] Re: Bytecode Format
I'm the guy who is working on the LLVM bytecode documentation. The document
I have at present just supports the bytecodes my code generator processes,
though, which is far from all of them. As I get farther along with my code
generator I expect I'll get to the point where everything kind of fits
together for me and I can finish it up. In the meantime, people are welcome

1.1Beta5 Issue
I installed 1.1Beta 5 this weekend. I had no problems at all yesterday
using Thunderbird. I started reading my mail with Squirrelmail this
morning and everything was going pretty smooth. I tried to delete a daily
e-mail I receive from careerbuilder.com and the IMAP process shot up to
99.9% and I was not able to do anything in Squirrelmail. I killed that
process and tried it again just to be

xen merge tree broken?
Is the current xen-merge tree supposed to work? I tried to use
it as a 64bit dom0 with a recent xen-unstable hypervisor,
and it didn't get farther than "Disabling xen tracebuffers"
Didn't look too closely at the problem so far.
It also didn't build with a separate objdir.

Possible memory leak in qemu-dm when Xen USB Passthrough is used
Hello,
[please CC me]
Recently I have reported a Debian bug:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=703430
Possible memory leak in qemu-dm when Xen USB Passthrough is used
I wonder if somebody encountered such behaviour or how can I debug it farther ?
Best Regards,
