dovecot-2.1-pigeonhole-0.3.0 identifier redeclared: sieve_multiscript_run (patch)
Hi,
I recently compiled dovecot-2.1.1 on Solaris 10 with Sun Studio, but
when I want to compile Sieve for this version
(dovecot-2.1-pigeonhole-0.3.0) I get an error:
"sieve.c", line 578: identifier redeclared: sieve_multiscript_run
and I see that declaration in sieve.h is different from definition in
sieve.c, so compilation process fails with SunStudio cc compiler.

Install of Dovecot 2.2.5 on Solaris 10/Openssl version 0.9.7d 17 Mar 2004
Greetings!
I am attempting to install Dovecot 2.2.5 on Solaris 10 Sparc hardware with openssl version 0.9.7d 17 Mar 2004. I have created a dovecot user and a dove null user, assigned them their own login directories specifying the ksh shell and assigned them to their own groups. I have run the configure command successfully and am having trouble with the make.
At first, I received the problem

IPv6-enabled dovecot-1.1rc* does not accept IPv4-connections
Hi,
I'm having a really really strange problem. After upgrading from
1.1.beta13 to 1.1.rc2 (happened with rc1 as well IIRC) I can't connect
to the services using IPv4 anymore. dovecot happily binds to the IPv6
wildcard socket which should accept IPv4 connections as well.

Compile error introduced in b13 (Solaris 10)
Any news on the b13 compile issue on Solaris 10 (both Sparc and X86)?
Would be nice to know whether it's our own headache or something thats not
supposed to be and thus expected to be fixed in the next release.
Just to be clear this didn't occur in any other release (I've compiled all
previous v1.1 betas on the same setup including b12).

PATCH: compile dovecot-1.1.beta14 with gcc 2.95
Hi,
I patched dovecot-1.1.beta14 to compile under gcc 2.95. __builtin_expect
and __attribute__((malloc)) are only available since gcc 3.0, and
__builtin_types_compatible_p since 3.1.
Also the flexible array members (char a[]) are not available for gcc
2.95. So I replaced them with zero-extent arrays (char a[0]), which
should also work, but that is gcc specific. A general pointer (char* a)

careful.
