I could not find a relevant email to send this request to so please forgive me and forward as appropriate. I was wondering if you would consider a sponsorship link your main page. Perhaps for a flat monthly fee or something. Please let me know. Thanks. Panic/backtrace in dovecot 2.2.13
Hi I'm running into regular problems with dovecot choking on "corrupted" index files. The main problem is that it doesn't sort itself out and recover. This message below is repeated regularly in the log files (until I delete the index files) I *think* the trigger to get into this situation might be a files being delivered with incorrect S= values in the filename? Which

Capability COMPRESS implemented?
Hi, I just read that http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4978 ..is being implemented in Thunderbird 3. This is great news! It's been a long time since we last discussed this and I don't think it's currently implemented in Dovecot, but since Cyrus just added it, any chance of getting support in Dovecot please? (Fastmail seems to be supporting this effort) On a similar note we had a

Please test so we can have a fully stable v1.1.0 release. v1.1.betas are already running in a few large installations, so I don't expect there to be many bugs left. There are no release critical bugs left and no known crash bugs.

Sipura-3000 Assistant for Asterisk on MacOSX? Well, maybe, with your help!
Hi We are getting more and more email from Mac users asking how they can connect their MacOSX based Asterisk server to a PSTN phone line. This has led to two ideas ... 1) Mid term: set up a donation fund to sponsor the development of Zaptel drivers for MacOSX Note: if everyone who downloaded the Asterisk installation package for MacOSX during the last two months since its release would donate

Cisco 7971G-GE & SEP{MAC}.cnf.xml
I have been forced to introduce a Cisco 7971G-GE into my network, because "it has a pretty screen." I have wasted nearly three days fighting with the thing based upon the information on voip-info.org and a few other forums. Asterisk is reporting a 401 Unauthorized. Which typically means bad username/password combination. Unfortunately, all of the usernames and passwords I see in

http://dovecot.org/releases/1.1/rc/dovecot-1.1.rc6.tar.gz http://dovecot.org/releases/1.1/rc/dovecot-1.1.rc6.tar.gz.sig This is it. The first v1.1 release that actually deserves the "release candidate" name. It contains everything I require from v1.1.0 release. There are two bugs left that I'd like to get fixed, but they won't block v1.1.0 release: *
