ANNOUNCE: GnuCash 5.9-2 for macOS 15.2
Since it doesn't look like Apple is going to fix the linker bug that crashes GnuCash on macOS 15.2 beta and the rumored release date for 15.2 is before the scheduled release of GnuCash 5.10 I've promoted the test builds with the workaround to official releases:

I decided I would like to try GnuCash on my 5.x desktop system. I did an
available list and got this

Interesting slow Samba read and write problem - GnuCash
Interesting, but now reached the stage where I have to resolve it! Many
things have been checked and experimented with but nothing really has
provided the right answer.
The high points!
- Two Samba servers joined with an OpenVPN link over Internet. Worst
case bandwidth about 384Kbps.
- A WXP client on one of the servers LANs trying to access data on the
server at the other end of the link

gnucash crashes on 5.1-RELEASE
Hi,
I'm using gnucash 1.8.4 on 5.1-RELEASE. Entering, viewing and editing
accounts and transactions works fine so far, but as soon I click for
help in an account view or select Reports, Income&Expense, Cashflow,
it crashes with the following last words:
