[cfe-dev] FE_INEXACT being set for an exact conversion from float to unsigned long long
I think it’s generally true that whenever branches can reliably be predicted branching is faster than a cmov that involves speculative execution, and I would guess that your assessment regarding looping on input values is probably correct. I believe the code that actually creates most of the transformation you’re interested in here is in SelectionDAGLegalize::ExpandNode() in LegalizeDAG.cpp. The

[LLVMdev] Reminder: LLVM 2.8 Branching on September 3rd
This is a reminder that the branch date for the LLVM 2.8 release is next Friday (September 3rd). Please try to finish up any major changes you have so that they get a sufficient amount of "bake time" before the branch. As Friday approaches, please keep the top-of-tree as stable as possible. September 3rd is not the final date for code submissions. We will allow submissions to fix bugs

However, it is the last time code can be checked in without approval by the code owner. Please please please keep on

New git repository
Hi, When the Subversion mirror of portable OpenSSH fell into disrepair, I promised to replace it with a git mirror. Well, I finally got around to it - you can clone git://anongit.mindrot.org/openssh.git and browse at https://anongit.mindrot.org/openssh.git/ The repository is also mirrored to github at https://github.com/openssh/openssh-portable These are very new and it's entirely possible

[fdo] Authenticating/verifying freedesktop projects source
Hi, I would like to recompile a version of ModemManager supporting the Voice interface. That is why I have to use the source code from the master branch and not the 1.4 version. This also requires me to download libqmi from a repository, because 1.12 is too old for this. How do I verify the source? Unfortunately: - nor git commits, nor tags seem to be signed, - HTTPS-accessible source

[LLVMdev] Reminder: 3.6 branch is coming
Reminder: The plan is to create the 3.6 branch next week, on 14 January. Please help get the release notes and other documents updated. Cheers, Hans 1. http://llvm.org/docs/ReleaseNotes.html 2.

plot methods for summary of rms objects
The integration of plot methods for various outputs from rms packages is a great appreciated aspect of the rms package. I particularly like to use: plot(summary(model)) for my own purposes, but... for publication/presentation I need to modify details like variable names, or the number of signficant digits used in the figure annotations. Is there a simple way to modify the plot inputs
