configure: error: unrecognized option: --docdir=/usr/share/doc/dovecot-2.0.11
Hi, I tried to use ATrpms (http://dl.atrpms.net/all/dovecot-2.0.11-1_126.src.rpm) to rebuild the rpms. It is shown the error message as following: configure: error: unrecognized option: --docdir=/usr/share/doc/dovecot-2.0.11 Try `./configure --help' for more information. I checked `./configure --help', it did contain the '--docdir' option. I don't know how to fix it. Then I

Setting llvm::TargetOptions::GuaranteedTailCallOpt in LTO Code Generation
Hi Dwight Thanks for the feedback. For the issue you reported, there has been few reviews trying to tweak the -mllvm option when using legacy LTO interfaces (myself included) but it never got enough traction to moving forward. Note how -tailcallopt is implemented as a -mllvm flag means that it is a debug option and probably not well tested. The option is also not stable which means it can be

Setting llvm::TargetOptions::GuaranteedTailCallOpt in LTO Code Generation
Hi, I am lead developer of a project that is using LLVM to implement an ahead-of-time compiled functional language. We use llc -tailcallopt to ensure that functions that end in a tail call are compiled to a tail call at the machine level, because we have a number of cases in our interpreter where functions with different function signatures call one another in deeply nested recursive calls. We

building on RHEL 5/CentOS 5
RHEL5 has autoconf 2.59 and automake 1.9.6. I've managed to build the whole Xapian family by reducing the requirement to 2.59/1.9.6 in configure.ac. Omega requires docdir which can be added by hand in docs/Makefile.am: docdir = ${datadir}/doc/${PACKAGE} if !MAINTAINER_NO_DOCS dist_doc_DATA = $(RSTHTML) endif All I've done is get these packages compiled - I haven't tested in any

I attached the snapshot of the output of commands but the size of the email got bigger than 40kb so i had to place the output as text. Bug#536175: Bug#536175: Bug#536176: xen-utils-3.4: trying xen-3.4 once breaks xen-3.2 (?)
Here is a patch to the Debian xen-3 3.4.0-1 package that reenables ioemu. I have been using it for the last four weeks. (I understand there are reasons this cannot go into Debian yet, but hopefully it will be useful to people that depend on running HVMs today.) Configuration Flags
Dear list, The --mandir and --docdir flags don't function when I try to supply them to the ./configure clause. Are they not implemented at all, or is this some kind of bug?
