Nouveau wiki migration
Hi everybody,
I think it's time to finally move our wiki from the old infrastructure
over to gitlab pages.
This comes with several benefits:
* full control through git over the ikiwiki pipeline (setup files,
plugins, system packages, ...)
* random users are able to create MRs against the wiki as long as they
are willing to create a gitlab account.
* possible to migrate over to a different

My experience with our VS-1 Asterisk server
I own and operate a number of franchised Sylvan Learning Centers where
I recently upgraded to an all VOIP phone system (Asterisk) with one
VS-1 and about 25 extensions scattered around the country. I had
originally setup a Dell 420 SC but the Dell had incurable buss issues
with single span and quad span T1 cards. I wasted a LOT of time trying
to get the Dell to work and finally gave up on

imap2json
Hi there,
I've started work on a side project that I've been long wanting to do;
better HTML archives of email.
https://github.com/kaihendry/imap2json
I'm just designing the JSON schema atm, and I thought it would be good
to get your feedback (Esp Timo) before I make a horrible mistake.

But dd-ing is the reason why isohybrid exists.

Aplication slow after migration
Hi, everybody!
I have been using samab on Debian for years and I have recently migrated
my file server from version 3.0.14a-3sarge2 to 3.0.24-6etch4.
One or our applications stores its data in a shared folder. This data is
distributed in over 29000 files of about 1k-40k and is so much slower
when it runs on the new server.
I have thoroughly revised both smb.conf files, but can't see

SELinux error message on CentOS 5: "multiple same specifications"
Hi all,
I just installed a CentOS 5 machine from Kickstart. I configure NSS
and PAM to lookup and authenticate users from LDAP with authconfig. On
my LDAP I also have some automount configuration, but I'm not running
automount on this server. SELinux is installed and enforcing.
Whenever I try to install an RPM (and in other occasions during boot)
I see those messages:
# rpm -Uvh ... .rpm

problem with glsm.krige: trendd and trend l must have similar specifications error
Hello,
I used glsm.mcmc and likfit.glsm to create model. Now I want to predict at different locations, but I can't get glsm.krige to work. I keep getting the error that trend.d and trend.l must have similar specifications. I have tried numerous ways to include the covariates in the glsm.krige model, and I keep getting the same error message. The bolded part is the part that doesn't work.

Any reviews/comments out there on this server? Looks solid.. But would
like to know if anyone has purchased one of these before. Any other
companies out there offer pre-built * servers that someone would like to
comment on?
