[PATCH xf86-video-nouveau] Properly cleanup fb for reverse-prime-offload
drmmode_set_scanout_pixmap(pix) adds drmmod->fb_id through a call to drmmode_xf86crtc_resize(), but on a subsequent drmmode_set_scanout_pixmap(NULL) it would not remove the fb. This keeps the crtc marked as busy, which causes the dgpu to not being able to runtime suspend, after an output attached to the dgpu has been used once. Which causes burning through an additional 10W of power and the

properly check for _DSM function support and Optimus support for vga_switcheroo
Hello guys, I've prepared a patch based on my findings for the bbswitch module (https://github.com/Lekensteyn/acpi-stuff/tree/master/bbswitch). This adds a proper check whether a _DSM function is supported or not and make OFF / ON for vga_switcheroo work for nVidia Optimus models. The patch is based against the mainline kernel. It has been tested on my Clevo B7130 laptop running kernel 3.2

[PATCH] fifo/gk104: kick channel upon removal
A channel may still be processed by the PBDMA even after removal, unless it is properly kicked. Some chips are more sensible to this than others, with GM20B triggering the issue very easily (the PBDMA will try to fetch methods from the previously-removed channel after a new one is added). Make sure this cannot happen by kicking the channel right after it is disabled, and before the new runlist is

[PATCH] PCI: Expose hidden NVIDIA HDA controllers
From: Lukas Wunner <lukas at wunner.de> The integrated HDA controller on Nvidia GPUs can be hidden with a bit in the GPU's config space. Information about this scheme was provided by NVIDIA on their forums. Many laptops now ship with this device hidden, meaning that Linux users of affected platforms (where the HDMI connector comes off the NVIDIA GPU) cannot use HDMI audio
