bugzilla rpm?
Does anyone know where to find a RPM of bugzilla for CentOS4 (or RHEL4)? I'm still very new at building RPMs, so I would strongly prefer to get one already built (and by someone who is better at it than I am). -- Matt

Looking for RPM for 1.0.3 for CentOS with imap, ldap, and ssl
Hi, I don't know how to compile Dovecot from src rpm;s - in fact I tried and failed miserably. The only other src rpm I have ever built was postfix, and I ran into a whole bunch of errors trying to build an rpm from the src rpm at ATRpm. Anywho, I was wondering if one of you wonderful Dovecot members would be willing to create an RPM for CentOS 4.5 that includes ldap and ssl. Or, if

wifi cluelessness
The nice folks at work have just provided me with a new, really spiffy, ThinkPad. So, I''m trying to get wireless working under CentOS4 and I''m having trouble. First, I can''t seem to find any rpms to just install (this would be really nice). And, second, when I try to build it from the src.rpm that I pulled from the atrpms repository with "rpmbuild --recompile

MythTV on Centos 4
I'm starting a project to build a MythTV box for my living room. Anyone else currently working with MythTV on CentOS 4? Here are some of the gotcha's I've worked through so far: - I was originally planning on using KnoppMyth. But their CD appears to be only for i386. Without realizing it, the P4 CPU I picked is one of the newer ones with the x86_64 extensions. It won't boot

Anyone using fuse and/or sshfs under Centos 4.4?
Hi A search of google failed to show any prebuilt rpms for sshfs and fuse. I do see that fuse support is in 2.6.14 kernel which isn't a whole lot of help. Before I dive headlong into this has anyone successfully built fuse/sshfs against Centos 4.4. If so would you share your experience? Thanks Daveh

Dovecot Sieve Broken with 1.1 RPMs?
We have been using dovecot v1:1.0.15-1_72 and dovecot-sieve v1.0.3-7 very successfully for many months but I've been unable to get dovecot-sieve to work with the latest 1.1 release. The new release seems to completely ignore our global sieve script no matter what we do. Is anyone else using the atrpms-stable rpms packages and able to get dovecot-sieve to work correctly? Any help would be

possible corrupt rpm database
Hello, I've got a centos5 box that at least has a dependency issue or a corrupt rpm database. I am open to suggestions as to how to proceed. I have added some extra repositories to my yum configuration, centosplus, rpmforge, atrpms, and the kbs repos. I haven't been having issues with installs or upgrades until today when i ran a yum update, and got a missing dependency error for

Is there a way to limit multiple POP3 connections?
Hi all, Please correct me if I'm going about this the wrong way. We currently have a 3 system Mail server set up - two machines are the load balanced frontends running Dovecot and Postfix, and the third machine is our NFS. Over the past 4 months or so, I've tweaked and optimized our mail servers, and we receive roughly 3 million emails a day combined through this setup. Sometimes,

Linux on a Thinkpad R40
I've just acquired a use IBM Thinkpad R40 model 2722-GDM. I'm contemplating what to run on it, and longer-term the likely candidates are: Centos 5 SLE{D,S} 10 OpenSUSE 10.2 Kubuntu - the latest. Kubuntu - Long Life (aka 6.04, Dapper, ...) I've booted Knoppix 4 in it and most seems well, including the Atheros Wireless card Windows can't find. The major flies in the

dovecot sieve rpm?
Hello, Does anyone have a repo or have a dovecot 1.2 and dovecot sieve rpm, also a postfix 2.5 or 2.6 rpm? I saw some on a repo called atrpms, but it has dependency issues, and I read that that repo is dangerous. Thanks. Dave.

build rpm fails
Hi everyone, I am trying to get Asterisk 1.4 running on CentOS 4.4 (Kernel 2.6.9-42.0.10.ELsmp) and am having a lot of trouble getting asterisk running on it. I had a fair bit of success with the ATrpms binaries (Zaptel worked but asterisk failed to startup because it couldn't find the speex modules). I am trying to thus recompile the asterisk rpm for CentOS 4.4 with the least amounts of

Firewall builder - which rpm?
I need a decent, easy, firewall on Centos. This is for test systems, so I do not need a lot. For 'a lot', I use and Astaro firewall. I had used Firestarter once, but found out that it cannot handle routing between a public and private network. Basically saying this is impossible. Of course, if your private network is addressed per RFC 1918 (that I co-authored), I can understand

Samba rpm and /var/*/samba directory for .tdb files
Hi, I use CentOS4 (RHEL4) and it seems that I was using /var/lib/samba for storing the .tdb files. Then I compilled the fedora .src.rpm from samba.org and it points now to /var/cache/samba I will build tonight the .rpm from the .tar.gz and see which directory samba choose for the .tdb files in CentOS4. Anyone can confirm this list of distro/.tdb directory: Fedora: /var/cache/samba CentOS4:
