Openldap samba 3.0.5 net group add does not work
When I run net add groupmap rid=512 ntgroup="Domain Admins"
UNIXgroup="ntadmins" i get this error:
adding entry for group Domain Admins failed!
The error isn't very specific and the log doesn't show any error. I look in
the log (log level -1 in slapd.conf) and I can tell it is able to search. I
can post the syslog if you need it. I think their is an error in my

How to plot multiple graphs?
Dear R helpers,
I have following data.frame giving asset class (i.e. bank, corporate,
sovereign etc. as there could be number of classes) and rating-wise default
frequency.
I need to plot graphs for each of these classes i.e. bank, corporate and
sovereign where I will be plotting ratings (AAA, AA, etc) on the x-axis and
their respective default probabilities on Y-axis.
I have tried to write a

Unable to find a codec translation path from ulaw|h261 to slin
I'm doing some final check-outs before upgrading from 1.4.x to 1.6.x and I've
encountered a problem playing back a .wav file to an Ekiga client:
My dialplan looks like:
exten => 730,1,answer
exten => 730,n,playback(/home/phones/common/moh/moha/Sovereign)
exten => 730,n,hangup
Sovereign.wav is a .wav file that plays nicely on my 1.4 server.
Here is what the console displays:

Multiple graphs
Dear R helpers,
Last week Mr. Ista Zahn has taken lots of efforts and helped me with the
following code generating basel_asset_wise (e.g. bank, corporate, sovereign)
graphs. The code works excellently and assetwise grahs are aslo genereated.
I have tried to customize the code as per my need.
However, there is only one small problem with the graphs. The graph doesn't
give me the asset names.

random reboots (nvidia G86M Quadro NVS 140M)
Hi
Do you have an idea why am I getting random reboots and (sometimes) this
stacktrace? :

This should probably go as a bug report, but I have already uninstalled
the driver --- sorry. This is a fresh install of Debian 8.3 (latest
stable) (Jessie). After switching to VESA everything is stable --- the
only problem is that this

Applying function to multiple data
Dear R helpers,
I know R language at a preliminary level. This is my first post to this R
forum. I have recently learned the use of function and have been successful
in writing few on my own. However I am not able to figure out how to apply
the function to multiple sets of data.

Suppose I am having following data.frame

Thank you,
I remember to had a look at this project, and I found it huge.
I started mine because I want LDAP authentication.
I also wanted less features / programs, less obtrusive, and better
attention to small details, like automatic DKIM generation and DNS updates.
I hope not to end up with something as huge.

Help in Overlaying of 2 Plots on the same Device.
I'm trying to overlay a density plot on a previously plotted histogram. However, i need to use the same axis as of the 1st(histogram) plot to plot the second. My second plot is creating its own axis and causing my plot to extend the entire histogram instead of getting a subplot on a portion of the histogram. I tried 'fig' and 'new' parameters with no luck.
Thanks in advance.

comparing a vactor of values in IF statement.
Hi,
my vector V<- c(1,0.5,0.06,0.056,0.01,0.04,0.4,0.9,0.82,0.1)
if( V > 0.5) { V <- 1 - V }
I get a warning saying only the first element will be used in comparing (if V > 0.5).
However, my results tell me vis-versa ,it actually compares every element of the vector V with 0.5 and that is waht i want it to do.
Using a for loop is expensive and time consuming since my actual

Least square minimization (non-linear)

I think the last time i posted this topic i started on the wrong foot. Thnaks alot to everyone who responded.

I am told to plot experimental vs theoretical vlaues from the histogram and do a non linear least square curve minimization and compute the mean and sd of the new x

Non linear Square fit Function
Hi all,
I'm trying to use the nls function to do a nls curve fit. I have a histogram for my data. I need to get athe best curve fit for this. i am plotting experimental vs the theoretical values. my experimental values are got from my dnorm function, mean=mean of my mid values(hist) and sd=sd of my mid values. For the theoretical i'm using mean and sd of all 20000 raw values as the start

Help in Customising NLS function to spit out Mean and SD of the new fit!!!
Hi all,
I'm trying to customize the nls function code to spit out the sd and mean of the new fit. All it gives me are the fitted values. THis function seems to work fine for my project otherwise. All i need is the SD and MEAN. Can someone help me to customise. I frankly did not understand the nls code at all.
I have 10 x and 10 y values from a histogram. I need to use nls to do the best fit
