1.0rc29: Corrupted index cache file
Hi, I have recently migrated from Courier to Dovecot, and I noticed a problem in one of my spam scripts. Here's the setup: Spam that needs to be retrained by the filter is placed in a maildir from the IMAP client. A cron job scans that maildir and if it finds a message, feeds it to the spam filter and removes it from the training maildir. Depending on whether or not the message was a

Change in delivery directory during 2.0.2->2.0.3 upgrade
In upgrading from 2.0.2 to 2.0.3, Dovecot deliver has started putting new emails into user at host/.user at host/new instead of user at host/new. This change was reversed by downgrading to 2.0.2, so it's due to the minor version change. Has anyone else seen this? dovecot.conf follows: # 2.0.0: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # OS: Linux 2.6.27.2-xenU i686 Debian 5.0.5 ext3 auth_mechanisms =

Struggeling with svydesign()
Dear all, We are analysing some survey data and we are not sure if we are using the correct syntax for our design. The population of interest is a set of 4416 polygons with different sizes ranging from 0.003 to 45.6 ha, 7460 ha in total. Each polygon has a binary attribute (presence/absence) and we want to estimate the probability of presence in the population. We used sampling with replacement

sig11 in 1.1rc5 fts
This happened from one user near noon on the 17th and 19th (today) of this month. From the backtrace it looks like they were searching, but I won't know for sure unless I need to ask them. Is this possibly fixed already? I just haven't upgraded dovecot in a while due to lack of problems. The sig11 happened a few dozen times, a few seconds apart each day. I have one coredump from

A previously unreported lsub/list discrepancy in 1.1rc5 and earlier
Not sure about 1.0, I don't run it anymore :) But a few users discovered for a small issue that only affects a very small portion of my userbase where instructional correction will suffice. I guess I am reporting it in the interest of getting it out there, and I can live with it if not fixed but it might be an issue for some people. I'm running through my list of issues. Basically,

Bug [1.1rc5]: Crash during "CPU architecture changed" index upgrade
Hello List, We just migrated from a PPC Xserve to an Intel Xserve. I used "rsync" to bring everyone's home directories over, and in the back of my mind wondered about how it would handle the binary index files... only one way to find out! :) Once I tried to login to IMAP, I got the following results: May 6 19:46:48 posh dovecot[1169]: IMAP(cabel): Rebuilding index file

R 2.15.2 still missing two files useful with the X11 icon patch
Congrats on getting 2.15.2 out on schedule. Debian builds have been uploaded. It is my understanding that Phil's patch for the X11 logo -- so promimently featured as the first item in the NEWS file for the release -- offers more when two extra files are supplied. I have supplied these for the Debian test release, for our 2.15.1-* releases and again now. We install these files as

Sweave function
Dear list, I have a question about the interaction between R code and Latex language trough the Sweave function in the package "utils". What I'm trying to do is to write a report. Contrary to the examples shown in the Sweave Manual in which table already constructed by R are "exported" on Latex files, what I would like to do is to build a table in which I combine text and

Cisco IP Phone services.xml sample?
Does anyone have a small, plain services.xml file for a cisco ip phone, preferably one that will work on a 7960? I can't seem to get my xml right, and no matter what I send to the phone I keep getting parse errors. Thanks Shawn

What's upholding the new clamav?
Hi, My clamav is complaining that the version is outdated. There is a new one 0.100 but epel is not updating the rpm. Why is there a delay? Adrian -- Adri P. van Bloois "Elegance is not a dispensable luxury but a factor that decides between success and failure." Edsger W. Dijkstra

how to not sort factors when plotting
Hello, When making a graph, plot and boxplot automatically sort my factor levels (y axis) into alphabetical order. Is there a way to make it NOT do this? I've tried: sort.by="none", sorted=FALSE, sort=FALSE, reorder=FALSE. Thank you.

Simple Question: adding points to a boxplot
I apologize in advance for the simplicity of this question. I use R 2-3 times a year, and I seem to forget more in the intervening months than I learn during my days of panicked reading.... I HAVE tried looking at the help resources; I'm just not very good at understanding them. I have a dataframe with 18 observations of 5 different things, and a second dataframe with and estimate for those

Clustering with ordinal data
Hello I've been asked to help evaluate a vegetation data set, specifically to examine it for community similarity. The initial problem I see is that the data is ordinal. At best this only captures a relative ranking of abundance and ordinal ranks are assigned after data collection. I've been trying to find a procedure in R that can handle ordinal based classification and so far have

I seem to be having a great deal of trouble with cups and samba configuration. cups seems to go on and off and it works and doesn't work. I think I need some help on my samba configuration. Generally, it has worked well on another machine, but my current setup seems a bit screwy. System: FreeBSD 4.6.2; cups-1.1.15.1; cups-base-1.1.15.1_4; cups-lpr-1.1.15.1_1;cups-pstoraster-7.05.5;

RE: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 12, Issue 171
Clearly that's not the answer I'm looking for. I need a hardware phone for this person. As the following post points out, a software solution is less than ideal for many reasons. Not the least of which is my user does not have a PC (please God, don't suggest that I buy a PC). I need a phone with a busy lamp field. Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards the 7960 + 7914 but I was
