It looks like this is already the rule for maildir, where one can't remove the folder if any files or subdirectories are present. I'd like to get this option for mbox folders, as I'd like to prevent "accidents" where users accidentally delete large folders by clicking the wrong thing and then too-quickly approving the confirmation dialog that pops up. What files under .imap associated with that folder can be safely deleted? What's stored in all of them? I just receive a copy of the official samba 3 howto, to be honest i'm rather disapoint with the content and layout. Well with free online version, i can't complaint, but with 'paid' version maybe i can complain to the author :-). dovecot-1.0-1.2.rc15.el5 on CentOS 5 I reboot the server and dovecot fails to start. But I can then issue "service dovecot start" and it starts up just fine. How to debug? What should I expect performance-wise if I put 200000 messages in a Maildir store and use two or three MUAs (mutt and Thunderbird), on an Athlon dual core 2GHz with SATA drives in software RAID (Linux)?
