CentOS 6 and screenshot of website
Hi, How one is supposed to do screenshots of a website with CentOS 6? The usual and normal ways I know doing it is: http://www.coderholic.com/pywebshot-generate-website-thumbnails-using-python/ https://github.com/AdamN/python-webkit2png/ But then from some reason RedHat doesn't support them: gnome-python2-extras: * Thu Jul 15 2010 Christopher Aillon <caillon at redhat.com> -

Mongrel dying daily with Ruby 1.8.5
Dear ALL, I saw this in article from mongrel faq, Q: Mongrel stops working if it''s left alone for a long time. If you find that Mongrel stops working after a long idle time and you''re using MySQL then you''re hitting a bug in the MySQL driver that doesn''t properly timeout connections. What happens is the MySQL *server* side of the connection times out and

Processes dying
Hello everybody! I''m a developer from Germany trying to run RadiantCMS on a Mongrel and Apache-powered server, and the processes keep dying away. I''ve been roaming the archives hoping to find a clue to the solution to my problem, but I didn''t get very far, since mostly the given environment or error messages don''t match mine. I''m using a Debian

Steam loading my profile and dying
Hello, Ubuntu newb here. I loaded some games onto my laptop that has a fresh copy of Ubuntu 11.04 and they worked flawlessly with wine. I am now trying to get steam to work. I downloaded it through their website and opened the file through wine/winetricks and it will update and log in to my account, but once it logs in it just closes. No ghost window, update tab or anything. I've

Thanks for the libusb version numbers. By the way, which version of NUT are you using? dying hd on live legacy system...
We have an old 3.x server whose hd is dying (kernel: hda: dma_timer_expiry: dma status == 0x61) and accessing certain files just crashes the system with a reboot. We have moved as many files to a nfs server as we could so simply. The system has been heavily modified (all using rpms) from baseline. What is the most practical method to replace the hard drive? -Jason Pyeron

Still fighting the IPv6 client dying...
Well, we're still fighting it, and one thing I've discovered that I find extremely odd: the IPv6 lease file. On my C7 workstation, if I grep -c lease6, I see 5 leases; on a C6 server, I see 9, and in the last few days, I saw my box - they mass restarted the IPv6 clients everywhere yesterday, because a good number of systems had lost the client. Can someone explain why there would be more

Wait for interface to become available instead of dying?
At the moment, if one of the interfaces specified with "listen=" in dovecot.conf is not up when Dovecot is started, then Dovecot just refuses to start. Is there an option to make Dovecot start anyway, and just use the interface when it becomes available? It is inconvenient to have Dovecot refuse to start during boot because some interface is temporarily not available. Then again,

Print Queues Dying!!
It started with one networked printer but it appears to have spread to another and now all networked printers occasionally go down. We have several JetDirect boxes and one NetGear PS101 printer server served by CUPS, the Windows computers access the print queues via Samba 3.0.2 on RedHat Enterprise Server 3. This is a very problematic issue and it is getting worse. We used this same type of set
