TSAN hack on AArch64 for Android
IMO having to disable 2/3 of the tests means the patch isn't ready yet.

Yup, that would have saved a lot of emails... :)

Dan is absolutely right.

That's not a reason to break them more. If you can't prove they're
correct, you can't prove you broken them more, especially on other
arches.

Trying to get 2 SIP phones to work
Im new to Astererisk. I compiled the latest CVS and setup the server. It
looks like things are working. I'm running kphone, x-lite and sjphone to
test things out. The kphone (local to the asterisk server) can call and
receive calls from any of the 2 windows machines. The first windows phone
I start I can send/receve calls the second one I cannot. I. No matter
which one I start first only

Meet at MTV to discuss TSAN/android/aarch64?
Hi everyone.
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to meet yesterday. I think it was
very productive!
I am writing to keep a "minutes" of the meet, as I remember them.
Action Items:
- Jasonk: split up bionic patch to explicitly replace CPP macros with
actual calls, one file at a time.
- Google/Android: pthread_barrier interface in bionic

moving folders bug - rc4
I am fairly new to dovecot...
I had a user who in outlook tried to move one of the folders into
another folder but it crapped out.
User tried to move "Djans*" folders into Koi folder. The subscription
seems to show the folder move but the actual data is still under
".ClickEats.Clients.Djans" instead of ".ClickEats.Clients.Koi.Djans*.
How do I fix this?
Thanks.

Migrating from mbox to maildir: Message ordering?
Hi, all.
I have been playing with the notion of migrating some of my folders to
maildir because it's a lot easier to manage that way from a reader
standpoint. The big question I have is how do I maintain message
ordering in each folder?
When I use a mail program to do the migration from mbox to maildir,
selecting "order received ascending", it works nicely, but one very

Convert MBOX
To all,
I am using dovecot --version 1.0.10 and trying to convert MBOXes to
MailDir's with the end goal of creating one folder filled with users old
MBOXes that when they log in for the first time will be converted to
Mail Dir format.
I tried this and it did not work and gave me this output;

[Bug] Case sensitive usernames and variables
Today I've found a very irritating bug:
I use
mail_location = maildir:/var/mail/%u/
in my dovecot.conf. And if user type Username, username, USERname etc at
login dovecot create a different Maildir's for one real user. But LDA works
corretly and save all messages to lowercase username mailbox. No problem,
add L:
mail_location = maildir:/var/mail/%Lu/
Then all works good. But I has

mbox corruption
Running CentOS 4.4, Sendmail...
I've been experiencing some mbox corruption this week. Mail clients
can't pick up mail and SquirrelMail gives an error.. of which the logs
state "File isn't in mbox format".
Is anybody else experiencing this? Any ideas about a correction? Cause?
Thanks,

Courier to dovecot migrations
Dear All,
I saw some topics discussed in forums about this, but none with my
problems :(
Currently we have a mailserver postfix with courier-imap-4.1.1, and
courier-pop3 and courier-authlib.
Our Maildir's are written in the users home directory (ex: ~/Maildir)
I'm now migrating the mailserver to other cluster and installing with
dovecot. We're also moving the Maildir's to

mbox to Maildir conversion
I've been running a mbox solution using UW's IMAP server. I've run it
for years.
Now do to heavy message volumes, I've decided to to take the plunge to
convert to the Maildir format.
I am currently testing a single user, and have successfully converted
the mail messages from mbox to Maildir format, and now I am setting up
the procmail tool to place the messages into the correct

RTP codec 13 received - Cisco incompatibility?
Hello,
In our SIP network, Asterisk is the central PBX, and it routes calls to the
PSTN thru a Cisco Router - IOS 12.2(11)T9.
If a client softphone calls directly via Cisco to the PSTN, the call works
successfully.
If the client softphone calls via Asterisk to other SIP internal extension,
it work fine too.
The problem is when a client calls an Asterisk extension, and Asterisk

I own a ME600 EPIA Mini-ITX main board with the latest Debian distro

libpri-1.0.3), and chan_capi-0.3.5. I followed all INSTALL instructions,

No, it does not. An auto-reply message, even if it is actually read by
the sender, can be ignored without penalty. An MTA rejection puts the
ball into the sender's court because the message has never been accepted

RTP codec 13 received - Cisco incompatibilit y?
I have a similar setup to you and get the same message regularly. I don't
think it's the cause of your problem. I did some research on it a while ago:
IIRC the cisco uses codec 13 for "silence suppression" whereas asterisk
(correctly) uses codec 19. The router can be configured to use 19 also, but
I didn't bother. I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong about
