installing plugin (autocreate_plugin.c)
Hi I want to enable autocreate-plugin, I downloaded http://dovecot.org/patches/1.1/autocreate-plugin.c compiled as specified in comment and got autocreate_plugin.so but I'm not sure how do I install it. I have many plugins in /usr/local/lib/dovecot/ (it's FreeBSD) and subdirs, but they all have libXX_ prefixes (what do they mean?). I couldn't find any information about installing

Courier's courierpop3dsizelist - uid convert
Hi Migration page [1] on wiki says "Courier version 3 (younger versions) Here everything has changed: Courier's UID data are now stored in courierpop3dsizelistand in a completely new format. But it's still possible to convert it to the format dovecot needs (link to perlscript and further configuration details will follow later). " but there's nothing more. I

Thanks!
Hello, I just recently switched my system from a BincIMAP/vpopmail to a Dovecot/vpopmail system, and I have to say: thanks! There were really only two things I had to patch Dovecot to do: first, provide statistics on network usage, and second, to allow folders to be LIST'd/SELECT'd/etc. with a trailing separator (to satisfy my pine users). If anyone's interested, I can generate a

doveot reporting "No space left on device" - yet df show plenty of space / inodes.
Hi, I am running dovecot 1.0.rc7 on a Suse Linux server. The server has approx 200+ mailboxes. Last week the filesystem (/dev/mapper/datavg/dat2lv) ran out of space - causing it to do into read-only mode. When I realised this I allocated some more space and re-booted the machine... Strangely it seems that dovecot is still having problems... It's like dovecot doesn't realise that

Irix joblimits failure (was: Re: New snapshot)
IRIX has a compatibility mechanism that lets you test for optional symbols (like jlimit_start) at run-time. I think these patches will let all all IRIX 6.5 systems build images that will test for job limit support dynamically: --- ./configure.ac Wed Feb 27 01:12:35 2002 +++ ../openssh-3.1p1/./configure.ac Thu Mar 7 15:50:21 2002 @@ -115,7 +115,7 @@ AC_DEFINE(WITH_IRIX_ARRAY)

Jail support for mac_portacl(4).
Hi. When we don't have too many IP addresses available and we want to run for example www server inside a jail, but use the same IP address as the main system, we need to actually use an internal IP address and forward http port with firewall from external IP to jail's IP. In that way we know that if somebody breaks into out jail, he cannot run sshd server (we have keys, I know) or any

Many sources into one stream
Hi, is it possible to mix several sources and broadcast them as one stream? What exactly do I want to do? Two people are speaking at the same time to their microphones (obviously not at the same machine) and these two sources are being mixed somehow and broadcasted through one mountpoint. Is there any chance for this to work? -- [ ----------< Live Long And Prosper !!! >---------- ]
