Mbox corruption
I am trying to track down an mbox corruption issue that has been happening for one of our users. It appears that the mbox file is getting truncated and the all important From line no longer exists which then leads to the mbox being useless. It also appears, as in most truncations, that parts of the mbox are being lost. I am not sure how to debug this to find out whether this is a client or

rc12 dovecot-auth core dump with ldap
Hi, I've got a core dump during initialisation when I use 1.0.rc12 and LDAP with authenticated binds in Solaris. It worked OK in 1.0.rc10. Here's the non-commented entries in dovecot-ldap.conf - some of which are probably redundant :) :- hosts = xxx.yyy.rdg.ac.uk auth_bind = yes auth_bind_userdn = "cn=%n,cn=users,dc=xxx,dc=yyy,dc=rdg,dc=ac,dc=uk" ldap_version = 3 base =

Just two changes: - rc11 didn't compile with some compilers - default_mail_env fallbacking was broken with --exec-mail Here's also again the rc11 changes: * Renamed default_mail_env to mail_location.

Problem with a regular expression.
Hi... I have come upon a problem with a regular expression which causes base-R to freeze. I have reproduced the phenomenon on several machines running R under Windows 10, and also under OSX on different Apple MACs. The minimal example is:- Oldterm is a vector of characters, e.g. "A", "B", "A", "*", "B" The regular expression is

Problem with a regular expression.
I tried this on a Linux (Ubuntu) server invoking R from the command line and the result was the same, except that I could kill the R session from another terminal window. Problem with a regular expression.
The issue seems related to R bug report 15012: https://bugs.r-project.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15012 As mentioned in the comments there, a pull request to the TRE library has recently been made, but I don't know about its status. AGI - Freakin Lost
Ok, I have spent that past 4 - 5hrs working (trying to) figure some AGI syntax out in perl. Maybe I'm Looney / slow or what I don't know, but I am lost. I need to figure out how to send STDIN into the script. I understand the concept of it, but lost when it comes down to it. No matter what I try with standard <stdin> The app completes on me before I can ever enter in keys. I

PATCH: compile dovecot-1.1.beta14 with gcc 2.95
Hi, I patched dovecot-1.1.beta14 to compile under gcc 2.95. __builtin_expect and __attribute__((malloc)) are only available since gcc 3.0, and __builtin_types_compatible_p since 3.1. Also the flexible array members (char a[]) are not available for gcc 2.95. So I replaced them with zero-extent arrays (char a[0]), which should also work, but that is gcc specific. A general pointer (char* a) should

~/.maildir preferable to %h/Maildir and ~/Maildir?
I have a recently deployed dovecot server and am readying another. Upon updating to rc12, I note the following change in the default dovecot.conf file: -default_mail_env = mbox:/var/spool/mail/%u:INDEX=/var/dovecot/%u +mail_location = maildir:~/.maildir Integrating this change to my local dovecot.conf: # formerly used default_mail_env = maildir:%h/Maildir # dovecot default

Setup terminates prematurely
Dear Wine Community, I have recently installed the latest snapshot of Wine (20011108). The build and install seems to have gone fine, but I'm running into a roadblock when ever I try to install a windows application. I get as far as where the actual install should start (after answering the various questions about files to install, where to install, etc), then I get a brief flash, like a
