Dovecot 1.1.2, index_mailbox_set_recent_seq crash again
Hi folks, after about 3 weeks without any problems, I've found this crash in yesterday's logfile (again related to index_mailbox_set_recent_seq): Aug 16 03:39:58 linux dovecot: IMAP(user1): Raw backtrace: imap [0x80cf8e0] -> imap [0x80cf93a] -> imap [0x80cf26c] -> imap [0x809d11a] -> imap(index_mailbox_set_recent_seq+0x3e) [0x809d15e] -> imap(mbox_sync+0x105d) [0x80823fd]

Dovecot 1.1.2, index-sync.c, line 39, assertion
Hi folks, because I accidently missed a syslog entry from previous reports, here's a new one with both syslog lines. Same problem as always when saving mail from one folder to another with Pine 4.64. Does nobody else get this when copying/moving mail between folders? The assertion refers to src/lib-storage/index/index-sync.c, line 39 (function index_mailbox_set_recent_uid). Aug 19 23:01:15

Dovecot 1.1.1 killed with SIGABRT
Hi folks, with Dovecot 1.1.1, I've had two "crashes" (SIGABRT) recently. Dovecot 1.1.1 has been compiled from source and is running on Fedora 8 Linux 32 Bit (all patches) with custom OpenSSL 0.9.8h. Message parser loops on certain messages (e.g. with a trailing CR character)
Hi, dovecot's message parser enters an endless loop when fed with certain multipart messages with stray CR characters. parse_next_body_to_boundary() assumes the '\r' might be the beginning of a boundary line, reducing the block size by one: src/lib-mail/message-parser.c: 404 /* no linefeeds in this block. we can just skip it. */ 405 ret = 0; 406

1.0alpha1: stack frame core
Hi, Today's core dump from 1.0alpha1 came from a syslog message of: IMAP(user): pool_data_stack_realloc(): stack frame changed gdb info on the resulting core dump attached. Question: how many people are building/using dovecot 1.0alpha1 with gcc 4.0.1 versus gcc 3.4.x? I am wondering if these issues come from the compiler instead of dovecot itself? SIGABRT on fetching mail
Hello, I've never used gdb, so I don't know why I'm running into problems using "gdb bt". Usually, I'm fetching my mail using "sudo -E getmail", but this doesn't seem to work with backtrace. :-/ Output from "dovecot -n" attached. 3.0.2a internal error (SIGABRT)
Hi there, We just upgraded from Samba 3.0.0 to 3.0.2a last weekend. It was working well for a short time but then I restarted smbd and winbindd, and for some unknown reason the user/group databases became corrupt. I had to delete the contents of /var/cache/samba to get it to work again. Anyway, it is back up and running, but now winbindd seems to be crashing about once a day. Attached is an
