pam_winbind and offline logon
Hi all!
As a long slackware user I'm a total noob in pam and I'm banging my head against a wall trying to set it up correctly to play nice with slackware's default pam configuration.
One of the things I'm trying to accomplish is to be able to logon while the ad domain is available and have pam_mount automount the samba shares and to be able to do an offline logon and skip the

Could you also grep for upsd and upsmon in the NAS log? Is this possible?

Thanks Manuel. I’m following that guide but am now stuck when checking to make sure the nut-sever and nut-client are up and working. I got this:
proton at proton:~$ service nut-server status
nut-server.service - Network UPS Tools - power devices information server
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/nut-server.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)

How to get a server listed in the IMAP Test wiki?
Hey Timo,
Thanks for the quick turnaround, once we have the test results I'll contact you again.
Should I also include instructions on how to run the a self contained server with a dummy backend so you can independently verify our results?

How to get a server listed in the IMAP Test wiki?
Something I can't quite place finger on here. Altogether too much Mafia, in the bulk email business generally, and I know Switzerland borders on Italy ...
This sounds, (albeit vaguely,) altogether too much like the thieves I seem to have fallen amongst lately. Two stolen trucks, three stolen laptops, another one wrecked, three or four stolen cell phones, passwords GPG keys, city hall hookers

How to get a server listed in the IMAP Test wiki?
Hey,
We recently announced Gluon (https://github.com/ProtonMail/gluon/) our IMAP server library we are using in Proton Bridge(https://github.com/ProtonMail/proton-bridge). We would love to have it have it listed in the IMAP Server Compliancy Status wiki page (https://imapwiki.org/ImapTest/ServerStatus). What do we need to do or whom do we need to contact to make this happen?

samba-tool domain backup online and Administrator password
Hi all!
I use bacula to perform automated backups of everything needed to get my network up and running in case of disaster and when I backup my DC's I execute a script which creates an offline backup of the DC which I then backup to an external storage. I would like to be able to create an online backup too but I don't like the idea of having my domain administrator's password laying

samba-tool gpo admxload loads into the wrong server
Hi!
Thank you botho for your answers! I ran into some problems with the FSMO migration caused by the "kdc default domain supported enctypes" and "kdc supported enctypes" so after correcting that and verifying that DC2 was working again I shut down DC1 just to make sure that the domain was working correctly again. During this downtime I tried installing the admx templates again

sieve and fileinto encoding
Hello All!
I`m using dovecot 1.2.6
I have folder named in russian "????", and when in filter i wrote:
fileinto "????";
all works well.
Now i find 2 web applications to manage sieve filters (horde-ingo and
squirrelmail/avelsieve) - then creates filter like this:
if header :contains "Subject" "????"
{
fileinto "&BCEEEAQfBB8-";
stop;

AD domain rename
Hi everybody.
I have an AD domain which is set up incorrectly (it was migrated from an NT 4 domain which was running samba 3.2 with an openldap backend). Even though this setup hasn't brought any problems yet I would very much like to fix this to prevent any future problems. The AD domain is setup as follows (data has been obscured for privacy reasons)
DNS domain: example.com

samba-tool gpo admxload loads into the wrong server
Hi!
I had a samba 4.10.8 (DC1) AD DC which was holding all the FSMO roles and a samba 4.18.9 (DC2) AD DC with one way sysvol replication using rsync from DC1 to DC2. Since I'm trying to get the admx files for group policy editor into de DC I succesfully transfered the FSMO roles from DC1 to DC2 with "samba-tool fsmo transfer role=all -U SAMDOM\\Administrator" which I can confirm
