Segfault in dovecot 1.2rc2 with quota + public namespace enabled
Hi, I have configured a public namespace ("#Shared"). Since dovecot 1.2rc2 (1.1.11 worked fine) I get a segfault, if I try to access a folder under this namespace when quota plugin is enabled. When the quota plugin is disabled, accessing those folders works. $ dovecot -n # 1.2.rc2: /opt/dovecot/etc/dovecot.conf # OS: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 i686 Debian 5.0 base_dir: /var/run/dovecot

1 TByte (99,5%) data missing on rsync backup???
Hi, I have a weird problem with RSync: On a NAS are about 1,2 TB data. When I plug in a harddisk and make a backup with RSync, "df -h" shows the backup disk filling up to nearly 1,2 TB. But after RSync has finished, there are only 3.7 GB on the backup disk. System: Linux nas 2.6.37-gentoo-r4 #1 SMP Tue May 3 19:54:31 CEST 2011 x86_64 Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU 330 @ 1.60GHz GenuineIntel

Segfault in deliver server
Hi Timo, Hi list, I finally got along to test the current dovecot 1.2 with our Kolab Server. And I'm very excited to see all the cool ACL and shared name spaces stuff upstream, thanks a lot Timo! Anyway I just stumbled across a new bug using our metadata-plugin (which in turn uses the dict back end): Making a few annotations requests after another it stops working. dovecot.log sais

Winbind crashes on SOME users
Hello all. I'm having big troubles setting up AD integration. I think prerequisites are OK (machine is joined and many users from both our domains can login). But with some (fixed) users I get: *** glibc detected *** winbindd: free(): invalid next size (fast): 0x00007f24de0d2740 *** ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib64/libc.so.6[0x7f24da3e1ba6]

imap panic: file array.c: line 10 (array_idx_modifiable_i)
Hello, Are there any chances that I could fix this issue by running a "doveadm force-rsync" (https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Tools/Doveadm/ForceResync) on this problematic mailbox? You could try force-resync, it is safe to run. Anyways, without backtrace from core file it's hard to say. Aki On 27.1.2020 9.05, mabi wrote: > Hello, > > Does anyone one have any idea? Joining Samba to ADS domain (win2k3)
Hello, I am having trouble joining Samba to my ADS domain. I am using Samba 3 and krb5. I have configured and tested krb5 and know that it is functioning as it should be. I can successfully authenticate users using kinit. I've also configured winbindd. Users can't login on XP workstations
Hello, I'm running Samba 3.2.5 on Debian, with tdbsam backend. For the past few days, I've had trouble with starting Samba (which I do routinely once a day) but with users unable to login on Windows workstations. When this happens, the current smbd.log shows no activity (not even the "starting samba" event) and the previous day's smbd.log shows entries like these:

winbind + rpc windows
Hi, I've managed to configure winbind to use RPC instead of AD to authenticate users. I was able to do a few auths and from nothing winbind started to crash with the following error message: Any hint on what may be the error? I've already deleted all tdb files and restarted the services, and the server, and don't get it solved. [2009/07/29 14:19:01, 0] winbindd/
