Perhaps someone answered this but I missed it. I'm still havign this problem and can't figure this one out on my own. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm having trouble getting dovecot to compile with PAM support. Output from the configure command says its checking for pam_start in -lpam .... no. I've checked, there is a pam_start in there.
