Odd error message
We are running Dovecot 1.0-rc27 and have run across what seems to be a fatal error (SIGSEGV) in the past few days (4 times total in past 6 days). It appears to have been 5 separate users, 5 separate remote IP addresses. Two of these have this format: Mar 26 15:13:10 myhostname dovecot: imap-login: Authenticate PLAIN failed: Don't send unrequested data: user=<rmtuser>, method=PLAIN,

bug in 'margins' behavior in reshape - cast
according to the documentation of the cast function in the reshape function, I would expect this bit of code from the examples to calculate marginal means over only the 'diet' variable. #Chick weight example names(ChickWeight) <- tolower(names(ChickWeight)) chick_m <- melt(ChickWeight, id=2:4, na.rm=TRUE) cast(chick_m, diet + chick ~ time, mean, margins="diet") But,

I am unable to copy a file larger than 4GB to a samba fileserver! My config: - client is windows nt 4.0 sp 5 (I tried sp 6 without any change, I tried w2k, too) - server (now) is samba 3.0.6 on suse linux 9.0 kernel 2.4.21-99-default/I586 - share is on a reiserfs hardware-raid array with plenty of free space (explorer correctly _shows_ >500 GB, mapped as ntfs drive) Every time I try to copy a

Building a UK based e-commerce store in rails
I have built a few sites with Rails, however I have been approached by a company wanting an e-commerce / online shop built. I would love to build one in rails with the knoweledge I now have. I have the agile book and the pickaxe book they are my reference guide. However there is virtually nothing on creating real world e-commerce sites in rails. They will be selling to both businesses and the

With -f table this behaves as expected, however with -t tab the output seems to include the separating tabs of the header line prepended to the first line of output. In other words, the header line is printed partially - only the tabs, no actual headers and no newline.

[LLVMdev] How to disbale loop-rotate in opt -O3 ?
Hello, I am trying to simplify the CFG of a given code and eliminate the conditionals, even though I will obtain codes that are not semantically equivalent. For example, given a simple loop: for(i=0; i<N; i++){    a[i] = i;     if (i%2==0)       a[i] += 12; } I would keep only the loop, without the if statement: for(i=0; i<N; i++){    a[i] = i; } I can eliminate such conditionals on

Input and suggestions: Mail mirror setup
Hello, everyone. To make life for our operations team easier I am looking at setting up a mail mirror of any email which gets sent from certain machines. My current ideas go along the following lines: Each machine will use the Postfix "always_bcc" option and set it to an address like mailmirror at mailmirror.openlane.com. On mailmirror I am looking at setting up Dovecot with public

Getting the return value of the last command run
All commands return a value, usually 0 if run properly. For instance, try: $ ls && echo "done" $ lsd && echo "done" The echo command is only executed if the ls command exited successfully. If one did not add the echo command with the && after a command, how can he determine if the command exited successfully? I have a particularly troubling script that
