Meta-analysis with zero values for mean and sd
Hi! I want to do a meta-analysis with count data for treatement/control cases. Mi problem is that I need to use zero values (an informative value) for the mean and standard deviation for one of the treatement, but R has a problem: "Studies with zero values for sd.e or sd.c get no weight in meta-analysis". I can agroup the case by Family (byvar=Family). ¿anybody help me? Thanks! >

An error message with the command fm<-1m
> The function is lm(), not 1m(). Eric Berger is correct (except for the extra parentheses), but it is worth pointing out that variable names do not begin with digits. (You can use backticks, assign, & other features to create such names (e.g. to write the Orwellian assignment `2 + 2` <- 5L), but they are non-standard and you need special syntax to use them.) Maybe the font makes some

[Bridge] I want to RTFM -- so where's the FM?

We're putting together a new chip that incorporates, among other things, a core for a managed switch and a processor that will be running Linux. I wanted to have the Linux code (among other things) field SNMP requests and configure the managed switch. I'm hoping that it's as simple as

These are HE-AAC streams. They are working here just fine. Make sure your player correctly supports HE-AAC streams. -greg. Bijan- It will play in Windows Media Player 12, however there is a Microsoft bug (never heard of that), that requires you to click on the seek bar to actually start the audio output after you have connected to the stream URL. This only happens on Icecast2 sourced streams, not SHOUTcast, for whatever reason. I am trying to reach Microsoft about this, but so far, have been unsuccessful. I just

Good afternoon, We are long users of Icecast, and recently we are hitting 10/11 on stream now listeners. When we get there we get a message that we are exceeding server listeners. M3U is just a playlist file, and can actually specify different types of streams: MP3, AAC, OGG, for example. The Logitech Squeezebox Product Family plays these streams nicely, although you will need to create an account on the Logitech Squeezebox site to add custom/favorite streams which are not in their Directory. This is no big deal though. -greg. ORBAN -----Original Message----- From: Bijan

Which FM should beginners R? A suggestion.
We've recently had a thread on beginners and FAQs and the like. I decided that it might be a good idea to offer a short list of on-line help pages that beginners should read. Goals: - the list short be short (I think mine is too long) - many of the commonest questions should find answers there (fairish) - I should have found the pages helpful myself (no question about that) - it's a

ZFS and FM(A)
Working on my ZFS Build, using a SuperMicro 846E1 chassis and an LSI 1068e SAS controller, I''m wondering how well FM works in OpenSolaris 2009.06. I''m hoping that if ZFS detects an error with a drive, that it''ll light up the fault light on the corresponding hot-swap drive in my enclosure and any attached JBOD enclosures. How would I go about testing this? All drives
