4GB on HP DL380 G4 on FC5 test1
Hi, We are running FC5 test1 on some HP DL380 G4 servers with the stock xen and xen kernels supplied in FC5 release. We have 2 servers, one has 6GB of RAM the other 4GB. Both machines crash (lock up) on boot, I would have hoped to see 4GB of RAM and functional Xen in either case. Last message I see is related to PCI devices, I can try to capture the exact point of crash if it''s

0.99.8-test1 released
I think all of the reported bugs are again fixed in CVS, so I made a tarball of it. I'd like to hear if there's any problems with it. Here's the most important changes: v0.99.8 2003-02-xx Timo Sirainen <tss at iki.fi> * NOTE: Configuration file has changed a bit: auth_userinfo was replaced by userdb and passdb. *_port were merged into *_listen. 0.99.10-test1
http://dovecot.procontrol.fi/test/ Maildir syncing now works pretty much as described in my earlier mail. It was quite a large change, so please test this :) So the new and great features: - It's faster. - If someone renames maildir file just before we try to use it, we now resync the maildir and try to find it again. Before we just failed. It's also possible that the filename changed

Dovecot on Linux 2.6.0-test1-ac1
I've been using Dovecot on 2.6.0-test1 for quite awhile but today I jumped ahead to test5 and it broke in the way you described. http://dovecot.procontrol.fi/list/dovecot/2003-July/001943.html I used your workaround and now everyone is back in business. Thank you for the help! (I was sweating there for a bit.) --kyler

1.0-test1 released
http://dovecot.org/test/ I couldn't break this with Evolution with a few minutes of testing, so here's the first tarball release based on the new indexing code. Try if you're interested, but don't try it on any real mailboxes, or at least keep backups :) Also note that dovecot-uidlist file format has changed a bit, Dovecot 0.99.x isn't able to read it anymore. share /var/spool/cups-pdf/SPOOL/?
Hi, is there a way to set multiple selinux attributes to files/directories? I would like to share /var/spool/cups-pdf/SPOOL/, which has 'system_u:object_r:print_spool_t:s0' and would also need 'system_u:object_r:samba_share_t:s0'. The point is that there will be files accumulating that only need to be deleted, and there might be files users may actually want access to. Sharing

Control what messages go into /var/spool/mail/root
Hi, I found some info messages below in /var/spool/mail/root. To reduce the size of that file, I'm wondering if there's a way to prevent those unimportant messages from entering /var/spool/mail/root. Callweaver/Asterisk 'outgoing' spool
c/c'd to the Asterisk list as this is probably relevant to Asterisk as well. My detailed study of the operation of the 'outgoing' directory reveals that TXFax() does not delete an expired fax batch file (In the 'outgoing' directory) until after the end of the dial plan execution. Is there a way to get it to delete any expired fax batch file before the end of the dial plan

virt-sysprep cron-spool, no at jobs
sysprep/sysprep_operation_cron_spool.ml claims to remove at jobs, but those are not stored in /var/spool/cron/ on my system. Is the description wrong, or do other distros store the spool data in the cron dir? For me it looks like this (000110156d537 is currently executed): root at probook:~ # find /var/spool/at* -ls 67540 1 drwx------ 2 at at 1024 Sep 19 18:55
