Hi everybody I would like a function as the "before_save" method in the model. But it must be the opposite. When I take out data from the database through the model, I want to call a function before the data are available in the controller. I use the following code in my view: <%= collection_select(''datedata'', ''date'', @allDate, :id, :date) %> It''s show me the date of all entries in the database (Dropdown menu). I am trying to get hourly counts of orders between different price ranges from my database. I''m thinking there has got to be a better way than looping through each record and checking if the created_at time fits between hour 1, 2, 3, 4, etc of the day and then returning the count.
